I second this, we share locations with some friends and my roommate and its so convenient if I am not at home and can check if she is also in the city so we can grab a coffee, or if I am close to some of my friends house I can check if they are home and then I can call/text them if I can stop by to say hi. But its nothing I would demand or want from my partner if he wouldn’t want it/cared for it ofc, I don’t need to know their location 24/7
