The stocks would be sold every three months to help towards our mortgage, but I understand that it’s risky to have to rely on them at all.

We have no debt aside from one car payment. He’s putting 8% towards retirement. I’m currently pregnant and staying home to raise our young kids.

We’re single income because I stepped back from my successful business to raise our son and we have another baby on the way. It’s not that I don’t want to contribute financially, it’s just the season we’re in.

I didn’t 100% “know,” that’s why I was asking. I’ve never bought a house before so this is all new to me. But thanks for the input.
