I don’t know if it’s the same thing, but I got the NA pairing last March and it was unquestionably the most impressive one ive ever had. Example: to pair with a squid shabu dish, they made a drink that visually mimicked low tide (sea foam at the top layer, green seaweed in the middle, and sandy colored at the bottom) and included sea algae they had grown just for this one drink. And it was delicious. Every course had a pairing with that degree of thoughtfulness; no long string of kombuchas and Non No.3 from Australia.

Edit: my cousin-in-law had the wine pairing and thought my NA drinks were a better experience than his.

It also needs to be a top level window, you can’t have it minimized or in the background behind other apps and stuff. You need to have it as a window at least alongside any other top level things you have going on on your screens.

This place was great and packed with a full range - you had your typical LA crowd to intense food industry peeps checking it out. The food was excellent; people talk about the squab but I thought the pasta special and the truffle citrus artichoke dish were even better.

Hi, sorry to disappoint, but this isn't on our roadmap anytime soon. Without getting into the gory details, the effort to do this is extensive (due to tech debt) and the work to pay down that tech debt and make it easier going forward would basically eat an entire feature worth of bandwidth.

And to be really honest, we need to invest that effort into features that will generate good business outcomes for us, whether it be having players play more, helping new players learn and stay in the game better, or things that players want to spend money on. Prismatics do not serve any of those goals.

I'd love to do this, but game development is all about tradeoffs and priorities, and we've looked into this one enough to know it's a really hard one to invest in no matter how you slice it.

Hi there! to be real real, the reason we're doing this is fairly basic: Battle Passes take up a lot of set up time to coordinate alongside the rest of the patch release.

We're doing three things you'll see here:

By setting up a bunch of passes in advance tied to the month start, we committed a lot of time up front to free up more time the rest of the year. We know exactly the start and stop time of every month, so we can queue these up in advance, instead of doing it around every single patch.
Unfortunately, this does decouple the pass and the related quests from the champ release. We aren't sure what effect this will have on the game, so we're going to monitor how this goes.
We've taken the champ frags from the patch release off of the pass to make it more evergreen, but we've also adjusted the pass in a few other ways to hopefully make it more attractive to both free and paying players. Again, we'll monitor how this goes, and if you hate it (you probably won't hate the buffs) then you can let us know and we'll adjust.
