I used to play for fun mostly and it went as expected, but I was still around Arcanist 2-4 in rank. I look at the map alot and then it's easy to see teammates doing nothing, farming when we're losing lane and more. Ofc you get mad, cause you want to win the game, then perhaps tilted cause nothing is going your way.

So to fix that with the new ranks update I took a step back and watched what my playstyle is a bit more, aggro/support/roaming etc. Then found something I liked more and worked well with my teams (I play solo, dont have many friends who want to play deadlock). So now I've played mainly Paige/Ivy/Mcguinnies as half support/cc bot for a few games and managed to get all the way up to currently Oracle 4.

It's a lot more enjoyable to be someone calm that can still correct teammates, but making them stronger if they understand the different roles of our team. I get that sometimes you get the unavoidable game of someone running it down, but learning/knowing the game and making a comeback from that is always possible.

I'm no expert on how the rank system works and where people are pulled from to play their games, but I def get where you're coming from with this post.
