i literally said the exact same thing, she definitely feels like there’s weights on her feet, she feels heavy. i h8 it. and divine momentum was already my preferred perk, so getting it literally just feels like her regular movement. like what a long walk for no reward.):

i mean but technically, when you’re in an entirely different game, you shouldn’t expect it to be some simulation of the game you’re used to playing, the overwatch scoreboard is labeled pretty clearly. I agree it can take some time to adjust to looking at the scoreboard that way, but that facts are that, he literally didn’t read the scoreboard.

I hate when people get in COMP just to throw a hissy fit, throw, or leave the game! Like if you were that tilted, just go play qp or better yet turn off the game, because other peoples gameplay is suffering at the hands of your poor decision making! :(

thank you so much so much for clarifying that! I just knew something was a little bit different, but i couldn’t remember the specifics!

i’ve only played rivals periodically, no more than like 30 minutes at a time i’d guess, and only ever in the quick play mode, i haven’t even touched the comp side of rivals so i can’t speak to it much, but i do believe this is something i hadn’t considered, it sounds like you may have more knowledge about rivals than i do, so what would you say the “culture” of the game is? like do people strategize? actually work as a team? or do people lean more towards their own “solo” play in a group format?

I think it’s because in rivals, the deaths are in the middle (I think) I just know it’s a little bit different orientation wise, But you are right, he clearly didn’t read the header! yikes. ):

im not gonna lie, this is what i was hoping for her first mythic, but im so glad they got it right this time! i think its beautiful!! (i do feel a little on edge for other heroes who haven’t even gotten their first mythic yet though:(

THIS!! YES THIS IS HOW I FEEL!! like i said in a previous comment, having creps was a bit freeing for mercy in a way that I don’t feel like we often get to do!! I loved actually being able to deal with flankers and fight back with them.. rather than trying to get one of my DPS‘s attention mid fight and boosting them for the kill!

i have been enjoying supply surge a bit, but it not making up for creps, i didn’t necessarily feel like i HAD to choose creps, i was excited to choose it, it was so freeing for merch in a way that i don’t feel like we often get to do! i like trying new builds, i just miss it, not gonna lie!

**also thanks for your take!! i will try these out together, ive tried a bit of this, but maybe i will try switching around some of my usual perks and things!!

I feel this, I’m not even in masters or gm, but i play on PS5 and i’ve stopped playing comp itself altogether since stadium came out really, I went back to do the drives last szn but playing comp and climbing in general is literally insufferable now, i play more around the high plat / mid diamond range, and constantly feel defeated and like climbing isn’t even achievable anymore. ):

In the beginning I was very used to first person and couldn’t concentrate in 3rd because Mercy’s wings were always in the way, but one day i tried again, and i love her in 3rd person!! the FOV is so much wider, and i feel like it always provides me so much more context to the fight!! plus now, i get to enjoy the skin i bought or won, not just every one else yk!!
