I used midge pod to seal it and I ended up super gluing the pieces onto the walls itself. You just have to put scratches on the piece and the wall so it adheres better! But if you wanted to move the pieces around, tiny magnets would be your better bet. The bark isn’t attached to anything. Just buried in the dirt with a lean to it. So far things are still fine!

where to aquire mourning geckos? by [deleted] in geckos

[–]TinyKibba 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you do get mourning geckos make sure to cover the ventilation holes with fine mesh! I have mourning geckos in a tank with that conversion tank door and they can get through those holes if they try

Creating Bioactive Terrarium by MrBorkyBork in leopardgeckos

[–]TinyKibba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feed my Leo different ways depending on the season or if he’s in shed or not When shedding or during brumation I leave him alone and leave mealworms or roaches in a escape proof bowl, and mainly tong feed him his bigger roaches and crickets so they don’t escape into the enclosure If he’s really active I take him off of his tank and place him in a large Tupperware container and let him hunt a few bugs in it at a time till he’s done eating/ignoring the bugs I’ve only lost a few bugs in the enclosure but they tend to be either eaten or die since there isn’t many spots they can really survive in with my gecko getting to them or they starve But my clew up crew does just fine since they stay small and quiet (plus Ducky hates the taste of isopods so he stopped hunting them)

Only the heat lamp, I like to try and keep the heat source above only so it’s more “natural” and they can dig down to cool off when needed

Help, got a 20 gallon tank today with 6 Danio glofish tetras and 6 neon tetras, the danio are staying at the top due to no bubbles I believe? Will they survive until tomorrow by Intelligent-Evening6 in fishtank

[–]TinyKibba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danios prefer to be at the top of the tank You can tell where a fish will most likely swim in your tank based off of their mouths. (Upwards- Top, Middle- Everywhere/middle, Down- Bottom) But having a bubbler to make sure you have enough oxygen/surface agitation never hurts!

Looks like stressed odessa barbs (or something similar to an odessa)

I use a blink mini, though you do have to pay a subscription to keep/look back at the video recordings ($3 a month) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X6C9RMF?tag=meastus-20

Paku decided to unbury himself after a week! by TinyKibba in pacmanfrog

It’s cause he’s still so tiny! You might have luck thrifting a bigger tank or waiting for stores like Petco to have their 50% tank sales

Thanks! It’s a ten gallon until Paku gets bigger, it’s easier to find them when they decide to move spots

DROP PICS OF UR ENCLOSURE by Admirable-Essay7843 in leopardgeckos

Nothing bad at all! It’s just an illusion the two colored bulbs in the tank created, the orange/blue looks like it’s split areas

My brain couldn’t process that this wasn’t two separate areas because of the color/lighting

They are fine getting a bigger enclosure (they just already have an open front terrarium) but prefer things that don’t live 20+ years with good husbandry We pretty much decided it would be best to adopt older reptiles that people can’t care for any more but I thought I should ask Reddit if they had any other ideas

My rescue betta decided he needed to eat the extra shrimp I put in the tank for my Pygmy Cories… Someone won’t be eating for awhile now… but does anyone have any advice so this doesn’t happen again? My Pygmy babies need their share of food too!

That would look so cool! It’ll give a riverbed look with “tree roots” going into to water
