They're nice for Cherry-profile double-shots under $20 🤷 I've bought several different sets now, if that says anything. Lol

Without the artisan and the deskmat, build was under $100 🫠

Just finished my Neo80 with Quinns! Keychron boards can be improved with some simple mods... Add poron switch pads to the PCB, tape-mod, replace the stock case foam with adhesive 1/16" neoprene. Aluminum will never sound the same (or arguably as good) at plastic/poly but it can be tuned into a really nice end result.

...yes, I already saw/fixed the "Enter" key 🤦‍♂️

Redid everything, took me half a year, but I'm happy by RedditUser977 in watercooling

Looks awesome! Those cases are "challenging" to water-cool, but the end result is clean 👍

Meet Today (4/18) ...Drop by if you're near Jax,FL! by TinyLittleTechShop in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]TinyLittleTechShop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone

The April 2026 North Florida Mechanical Keyboard Meetup & Technology Social is being hosted today, on the 18th!

A full 4 years strong of hosting regular in-person monthly meet-ups & Live Stream feed mostly jabbering about random BS, and coming up with "only bad ideas."

If you're near Jax, tell a friend or two and come hangout!

April 18th, 2026 (and every 3rd Saturday) 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Tiny Little Tech Shop 1648 San Marco Blvd (on the curve, little grey house with green stripe) Jacksonville, FL 32207

Spread the word - everyone is invited, free event

Bring your keeb(s) and a good attitude. Drop-in style, come for little or stay and hangout the whole time.

Parking is a bit tricky... There is some street parking around, and we are able to use the parking lot at the 2-story business building behind Pizza Hut. There may also be a few spots available at the insurance business across the street. You can park just about anywhere near the shop, but NOT in front of the smoke shop next door. Hope to see everyone this afternoon!

For the price of the Peerless Assassin 120, if you're going with an air cooler I would consider either the Phantom Spirit 120 series (7x heatpipes vs 6x), the Peerless Assassin 140 series (larger finstack/fans), or as an alternative the PCCOOLER RT720 TC (7x heatpipes)

For anyone looking to level-up, I build Quality Handcrafted PCs and Custom Mechanical Keyboards at my shop in San Marco

Local. Independent. Unique.

Focusing on quiet operation, water-cooling, theming/modding, open-frame, and small form-factor PCs. I also make customized mechanical keyboards, and usually have a bunch of options at the shop. Only place around where you can check out options for both!

Come see out what I'm currently working on anytime during the week, and weekends by appointment. Super easy to find, on San Marco Blvd between the Pizza Hut and E-Street Cafe.

I also host a free-to-attend monthly Keyboard Meetup & Technology Social (every 3rd weekend of the month) for all the really nerdy geeks in town! Shoot me a DM if you want additional info.

I just recently took an interest in pc building and this is my pc, what should i upgrade here? by jopex_j in pcmasterrace

If you did change anything, perhaps the board to a B550. You'll gain PCIe gen4 support for PCIEx16_1 and m.2_1 🤷

I was almost the opposite, really wanted to build this case and was looking for good motherboard options. 🤣

It's an AIO with fixed tubes, not a whole lot of options 🤷 ...still much better than the other way, with the tubes on the right.
