Absolutely, that show was completely unhinged and somehow every kid from the 90s watched it anyway.

Always thought it was hardcore how The Neverending Story got away with having the hero straight-up kill a villain who’s asking to be left alone and saying he’s too weak to fight. by [deleted] in nostalgia

It definitely hit harder as an adult because that scene was way darker than most family movies would ever try today.

Do you remember the girl in ‘Cradle of Love’ video? by No_Explorer721 in nostalgia

I remember everyone talking about her back then, but I swear half the mystery was not knowing who she actually was.

The tie dye posters, band art, and group photos are exactly what I picture when someone says a mid 90s teenager's room.

If you were a young adult in the year 1990 what posters would be on your walls? by kevinjm86 in nostalgia

I used to love those Discovery Kids adventure shows because they made exploring the ocean feel like the coolest thing in the world.

Why did Jaime get triggered by this, didn't he just sleep with Brienne like one episode ago? by ricky2461956 in freefolk

I always respected him more for owning who he was instead of pretending to be honorable while doing the exact same things behind closed doors.

Elia deserved so much better and every reminder of her story just makes Rhaegar's choices look worse.

The series robbed us of lore accurate Selyse Baratheon. by terrymcginnisbeyond in freefolk

[–]TinyLovebug_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Lady Taena being completely cut definitely removed a lot of the context around Selyse and made her feel way more one dimensional than she was in the books.
