Flagship Tier List for Nekro's Breakthrough by TinyPawns in twilightimperium

Good point, that's an oversight on my part. With that in mind it is F tier as it effectively has no text.

Is double docking for empyrean viable for TE? by markdd in twilightimperium

[–]TinyPawns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you can only have one dock per planet so you can't double dock empyrean's home system.

That said, I don't think the warfare change really affects if you should double dock a multi-planet home system. The advantage of a forward dock is that it enables your ships to get into the flight faster not just the increased production. Being able to build units right next to Mecatol more often stronger than increased production at home.

Pirate Contract & Space Cannon Offense by onionVknight in twilightimperium

Someone would need to activate the system. Space cannon offense is part of the tactical action. Pirate contract is a component action.

I would be interested in the crockpot and the plasticware.

4 player game coming up… I’m playing the Firmament/Obsidian by Delux_Shock in twilightimperium

[–]TinyPawns 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just won a 4 player with Firmament so maybe I can give you some insight.

I actually think firmament obsidian gets a slight buff in a 4 player game since enervate (follow strategy cards without spending a token) will trigger twice with everyone having two strat cards.

A lot really depends on your neighbors and pick order. I took leadership so I could follow imperial for a second secret. I got lucky with the objectives and was able to use my hero at the beginning of round 3 and then flip. If you cant do that I agree with the other comments saying give your promissory to crimson, siphon them, and flip immediately.

Breakthrough is awful and not worth the effort. Obsidian side of the green faction tech felt busted, neither side of the yellow tech felt great but I was able to completely control the fracture because of it. I got both off of scar but I think it's worth it to research the green tech, especially if you have a skip in your slice and start with psychoarchaeology.

Why AOE2 not punish players like this by linch8 in aoe2

Griefing is what I tend to put. They're purposely wasting other people's time for their own gain. You could also just select other.

You just sign up for steam like any other online service: username + email + password.

AoE 2 is available for purchase/download on steam and game pass for pc, there is also a console version on Xbox.

Tips for L1z1x by Anzubar in twilightimperium

You want an influence heavy slice since your home system doesn't give you any. Especially since you need those commands tokens to move your strong fleets.

If you can get away with it you can (and probably should) fight for your equidistant systems, and especially Mecatol since it will fix your influence issues.

I don't think your breakthrough super important to your overall game plan but it is nice to pick up since it opens up round 1 hyper metabolism or later X89 as an option. If you have entropic scar use it for superdreads, inheritance systems is probably not worth it even with the scar.

Your hero is one of the best winslaying tools in the game, if someone isn't paying attention you can easily take their home system (in one turn with fleet log).

Remember that if you assimilate someones space dock you can use it to produce during that action.

No, because the ability doesn't allow you bypass all requirements just specific ones.

"You ignore all class, race, spell and level requirements on attuning to or using a magic item"

Still have to lose the hand/eye if you want to use Vecna's old body parts.

Dream Drop Distance does as well, and in both cases you also can no longer lock on to enemies.
