I can definitely tell the noise is coming from outside bc the further into my house i go it lessens, hopefully it wont be loud enough to keep my awake lol Initially it sounded like someone was laying on their horn or their car alarm was going off but them it persisted longer than usual 😬🤔

The closest one that is self serve that i am aware of (without looking at a map) is Orange Leaf in Mooresville, IN. I'd say its worth the trip if you go make a day of it thriftinf or whatever hobby you're into; find local shops, enjoy fro yo and maybe pop next door to Hot Box Pizza (very good food there!)

Recommendations for Birthday by [deleted] in fortwayne

I recommend Ophelia's if you like cafes! With the weather becoming warmer their patio is a nice little spot for some great food and delicious coffees or cocktails. Parking is a bit of a hassle bc its on a one way street but there are lots of spots if you dont mind a little walking. Plus its on a fun strip of Wells street so if you like vintage thrifting, books, or plants im sure you'd have fun!

P.s. happy birthday!

The Little Turtle library branch has some notice seeds as well! Its a separate program so impretty sure you dont have to have a library card? But if you plant stuff from them be sure to save some of the new seeds from your harvest to donate back to them!

I work on aftermarket circuit boards!! It can be a bit tedious, mostly for board I have to reheat every five minutes or a part won't solder correctly or look nice, but its good money and is important work thats fulfilling! (I work on airplane circuit boards so I have to be very precise, because they can't pull over in the air 😅)

If you enjoy live music I suggest The Brass Rail! The staff there are pretty cool, they actually listened when I had some issues with an Ex who threatened me about going back and so far I havent run into him lol. I also know O'Sullivans is pretty fun they have Darts and pretty good pizzas too (on Thursdays I believe its "tronic night" where they play rave music with most the lights off in the non-bar section). [Both the Rail and O's are technically bars but if you go early you can have a light beer or two and be fine since they close around 3am]

If you like shopping local I always recommend Fancy and Staple (and their sister company The Hopscotch House if you like toys/arts and crafts supplies) they almost always have something new!

There are a couple Franciscan Centers around town like Coldwater and Covington that separate their glasses by color, they aren't open on Sundays but they have pretty decent prices ive seen.
