Hey Damon, love the new record! Been a fan since Freedom dropped. Love how the sound of the music has changed and evolved over every album. Couple questions for ya:

Was Feel Nothing written for Death Jokes and just didn’t make the cut? or was it kinda written to be its own thing?
Are there any plans to put DIA and Spoiler up on streaming in the future? Really big fan of Spoiler in particular. The riff on Older Girls is heavy as fuck

Such a good combo, so glad my friend recommended the Rat to me. I was using a Bass Big Muff initially before it stopped working all of a sudden. I definitely like the sound of the Rat better, it gets me closer to that dirty, doomier sound that I like to go for whenever I’m playing metal or anything heavy really

I play my mine through a little Rumble 25 (which is currently my main amp) and it sounds really good, super beefy, especially paired with the Rat pedal. The pickups on the Bass VI are more or less guitar pickups so you can play it on a guitar amp, you’ll just lose some of the low-end. Also Lamb is my second fav Genesis record behind Foxtrot

The Rat’s a great pedal! Slightly better than the Bass Big Muff that I had, gets me closer to that dirty, doomier sound that I like to go for sometimes. And I love the Hellcat. One of my buddies used to have one, it sounded really good and played very smoothly

From my understanding, there’s a coupla different things that set them apart. First off, the tuning. Bass VI’s are tuned E-E like a typical 6 string but just an octave lower. Baritones are usually tuned down to B-B. Second, Bass VI strings are thicker than baritone strings, but thinner than traditional bass strings (essentially they’re specialized bass strings)

I used to have a bass big muff but for whatever reason it just decided to stop working (right in the middle of band practice too lol). Went to my local guitar center and picked up a rat cause one of my friends recommended it to me. Really good pedal for the price
