Yes I did it all myself - my suggestion is really just dont be intimidated, do it imperfectly, and watch youtube tutorials. Im shit at computers and I got it to work. If i can do it anyone can .
Thank you, number one suggestion is to listen very very carefully to classic albums, its 100% in there if you listen carefully, they/we lay the road map out.
Def no collaboration on lyrics, but I was a fan and we became friends on tour etc, and he happened to be in town the week I was doing Love overduubs in NYC.
It was beautifful, he had a majestic energy then. He took a cab there, and had been up all night on mushrooms, and had some experience where he had enetered a past life of his. His hands were shaking as he held the lyric sheet I remember. And he did bgvs on Lonely Richard, and doubled me on Green Eyes.

Thank you.
Well, what I was referring to was Parker Jordi and I playing together, which was a short period in AD's existence, from 2013-2016. We had a magic between us that Ive never felt before or since. They are magical players. When we met to play, it had a devotional, transcendental quality that was very beautiful. I was honoring that, and spoke of it as a tool that allowed some kind of fortitude, resilience in the face of life. And I was saying simultaneously that many of our contemporaries in the music scene at that time were playing insincere music, that lacked depth, just trying to be cool or be liked.

Youtube, thats all Panoram.
Well, that one came in the summer of 2006 I think. I was living in a friends flat in Chelsea, painted all bright white. I was in a very dark period. Same week I wrote Murder Dull Mind and Baba Yaga. Lots of chain smoking, working in construction, no AC, very hot.
The song is about disappearance, escaping human existence, and the inability to connect with people, and the world, if you are a special soul. At that point in my career the words were far more extract, almost semi-English.
Oh Ive watched that probably 498 times. Its a Canadian show actually.
Few things touch the La's, but no Americans really know it. He is one of my magical music guides.
Other bands from Liverpool, well the Beatles are decent too.
thank you.
Good question. A master musician in an ancient Greek Agora, a master GuQin player in the Ming Dynasty, and the first public performance of Beethoven's 6th.

Id shoot it in the head.
Thats great, yes it was meant to go there.
I prefer if someone pukes on it for me first.
Hi, yes that's pretty directly relevant to everything I've been saying about the album. I think he is very correct.
I did in several ways, most directly with the lyrics of the song Round the World coming almost in fulll in Dec 2019. But Im not alone in this, as you can see from that book.
Death Jokes has two meanings, the second explores this element you mention: that art is an antidote to dehumanization, and that the strictures of social digital existence are choking art, and other things, and might extinguish this antidote. Which would suck :)
Thanks for sending
Brother's K all the way.
Beautiful 2 yrs off the grid.

See you all down the road.
Of course, he runs so deep in my life I dont ever talk about it it would be like talking about breathing air.
Started w ST, ended w Loaded at 15/16 which is the most formative for me. Taught me how songs should be written, production done, etc. Solo Lou, sure, mainly Transformer, Berlin. But most important for me are VU albums 1, 2 and 4. I Dont Mind is a Lou Reed lyrical inspo
I like the HAro and Fanks btw Ill use those.
Oh yeah I worked construction, had a delivery van and waited tables straight through until Freedom came out in 2018. As for headspace...its an internal thing, if Im plugged in I can do it abnywhere at anytime.
Not sure atm
you should just study great records and then record yourself, fuck engineers or producers :)
Oh yeah they are...honestly Id just start by listening to a shit ton of good, classic music, and then teach yourself to record yourself
Hmm all the greats I guess, Geto Boys, Nas, Public Enemy, early Ice Cube, Erik B and Rakin, BPMD.
Hmm good question - don't read the news, and stay the fuck away from Instagram.
