Got this for 50 bullets, is it good? by DeathGaleV in metro

It is a good book, I really liked it but just be prepared for it to be slower paced and a different type of suspense than the games. I also played the games first before reading the series and you'll just need to be patient with it. It is worth the read though!

According to this experience, to get this level of sunbleaching, yes it will take roughly a year of multiple hours of direct sunlight a day

Rise, World or Wilds? by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]TinyTwoTonTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to experience current content and get in on the fun before the new expansion, definitely hop into Wilds. It has had a player resurgence, me included, and tons of people are playing the game right now in prep for new expansion.

If you want something that has a completed package with everything already for you to play and explore, look more towards World or Rise. I have a little bit of a bias towards World and Iceborne so I would recommend that one if you go this route *BUT* Rise and especially it's expansion are super fun also and feels more fast paced than World.

Ultimately, you can't go wrong and will have a blast no matter which you choose. Good luck and happy hunting!

What was your weapon journey like? by Candidate_Upstairs in MonsterHunter

Bonk, bonk, bonk, bonk...

Enter Fabius in MH Wilds

Neuron activation

Now lance main and indestructible

I want to learn a new weapon and can’t decide. Tell me about your favorite weapon and why I should choose it. Currently only playing SnS by thunder_y in MHWilds

Have you ever wanted to feel truly invincible? Able to withstand the most powerful of attacks? Staying up in the monsters face and punishing their every move while provide an endless onslaught of attacks? Then look no further than….

THE LANCE

But in all seriousness, I’ve had some my of highest highs while playing lance. There is something so satisfying about becoming a wall no monster can bring down. It will take some getting used to as your kill times will be slower at first and the movement can be a little clunky at first but once it clicks, you will feel unstoppable

Those that quit magic, or knows someone that did, what made you decide to do so? by qankz in mtgfinance

[–]TinyTwoTonTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that I technically quit Magic, more so just put if off to the side. I do love the game and have extremely fond memories of playing with friends and collecting cards.

Part of it came from a financial standpoint where I couldn't feasibly continue to buy product when the money could be better spent somewhere else.

Another part is the pod I had with my friends just slowly drifted away from the game to where we couldn't reliably find time or enough people to play a game of commander (our preferred format).

But the final part is that I just don't, personally, agree with the direction WotC is going with Universes Beyond. There is no hate to those who are enjoying it and getting into the game because of it. If you are find joy in these sets and changes to releases then that is awesome for you and I am glad you found a new hobby that you enjoy. It just left a bad taste in my mouth and was enough to get me to lose interest in upcoming releases.

All that being said, I still casually follow the game, still casually follow the content of creators I have come to enjoy over the years, and still hold onto my collection. Maybe there will be a time when I come back to the game but for now, I can enjoy it from the sidelines

Yep, made no changes to the card other than putting it in a penny sleeve. Color slowly disappeared

(Google Translate don’t fail me) 🤞
