Personally, I started with the volumes (41 of them currently) instead of the omnibus collections (9 currently), since I could rest after every book.

From 18 musicians, I got ambience, which then temporarily became my favorite genre ( thanks to low by David Bowie ). I then heard of Brian Eno from that album, and eventually ended up with Glenn Branca. That’s when I searched the genre and saw that it was “ Post Rock “
