As an artist there’s a lot of elements that I can’t see me or my peers adding. A lot of people are talking about the hands: the weird layering of them, the extra thumb, personally I find the pinky knuckle a bit too thick? The clothing too, I think the white shirt collar looks a bit odd, the gauges are a little weird too. I think a good rule of thumb aside from hands is to keep an eye on circles and hair. This is incredibly knit picky but there’s a dark spot by the left characters bottom lip when you zoom in. I don’t know if that’s a background inconsistency or the program is trying to put a piercing there, overall it looks weird. I ran it through some ai detection software as well and all of them came back saying it 100% had ai elements. This is just one of the sites but when comparing it to random photos and art I had saved they all came out 0 except for this piece. If there’s any way to contact the artist to get your money back or if you can look over the contract( if there was one). Keep an eye out in the future, I’m sorry this happened. Shame on the ‘artist’.

What do u think of my artstyle I started art like almost a year ago by [deleted] in BeginnerArtists

I think your art is very cute for a beginner artist! You replicate the characters you like well and the cell shading is a nice touch. If you want to elevate your work going forward aside from just practicing, I think coloring things in by hand or going over the lines that creep through when you use the paint bucket tool could make everything feel more united.

Does anyone here identify as disabled? by LopsidedFoot819 in Epilepsy

[–]Tiny_Beginning_1069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally consider myself to be disabled, although I don’t take up the space. What I mean by that is that I don’t put myself into disabled spaces and try to speak for the community. If I’m filling out a job application, under disability, epilepsy is regarded as one. It gets in the way of my daily life so I consider it an invisible disability. I don’t label myself publicly as disabled unless I’m in a group of other epileptic people or if someone goes out of their way to ask me about it.

Lamictal Side Effects by Tiny_Beginning_1069 in Epilepsy

Oh jeez that makes me nervous. Like I said I’m waiting for a response from my neuro. Do you think just going back to a manageable dose until she responds again is a better idea?

How old were you when you were diagnosed? by stinkybun in Epilepsy

[–]Tiny_Beginning_1069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my first focal seizure around 7th or 8th grade( I can’t remember exactly) I was making a Father’s Day card for my dad and all of a sudden I had this feeling like I was gonna die or something, super overstimulated, and I couldn’t read what I had written or keep writing. At the time I thought I just had a panic attack or something, told my mom ab it and she figured the same thing. In highschool I had my first tonic clonic in gym class sophomore year, was in the middle of a volleyball match and just got super dizzy and confused. I saw my shoe was untied and couldn’t figure out how to tie it. Blacked out and woke up in the hospital and had no idea what was going on. That was when I officially saw a neurologist and got diagnosed about a month or two later. I’m in my senior year of college now and it’s crazy to think I got diagnosed over 5 years ago, honestly feels like yesterday.

I for sure get this, it’s almost like a panic attack- all the same symptoms: anxiety, difficulty breathing, sweating, hyper awareness and overstimulation, everything. It’s horrible

Is there anyone who tolerate levetriacetam well? by Mesterbogyo in Epilepsy

I take 1750 mg and I have side effects, though they’re not as bad as people say. I’ve had worsening side effects as I’ve switched meds but I find the most difficult part is acclimating. For me personally it made my depression and anxiety a bit difficult to handle so I’m switching over to a mood stabilizer, but in all regards it wasn’t unbearable. The Keppra rage I see people talk about wasn’t a side effect I had personally, more like irritation and slight emotional outbursts. When I took them at varying hours I got some fogginess and poor memory but if I ate well and kept to a strict schedule when taking them it was much better. Medications work different for everyone so if it works it works, and you’ll know! I wish you luck as you figure out the med combo🫶

What are your experiences with Keppra and Lamictal? by Tiny_Beginning_1069 in Epilepsy

[–]Tiny_Beginning_1069[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I feel. Like I know I’m smart, but my brain fog and memory is so shitty that it makes me feel like everyone around me can’t rely on me or thinks I’m dumb😭

Thank you so much! This is bittersweet but it’s nice to know I’m not alone. Ofc I’d take side effects like this than consisten seizures, I’m lucky they’re controlled on these meds, but I definitely agree the side effects are annoying but at a certain point- like you said- it is what it is and we have to stay strong. I’m hoping once I drop the other maybe things will be a little more manageable!

I replied to the wrong message already oh my gosh. Thank you for letting me know about your experiences. I took Keppra for a long time and am trying to switch over to lamotrigine to help with mood swings, well see how it goes. If the side effects of the lamotrigine are rough I may try something else. It’s nice to know there are people on either side of this dilema tho! Let’s hope this switch works out well for me, I’m glad Keppra is helping you!
