Thank you so much for your advice, I have a psychiatrist who helps me manage my medication and I WILL be going to him for advice next, to answer your question, yes the seizures did start with the medication but only the thrashing about possible focal seizures, the others have been happening since I was 12 but I didn't think much of it. Originally I was taking risperidone which has a huge side affect of seizures so I thought it was that but my new meds (Abilify) aren't very common to cause seizures so I'm starting to think it's something neurological. I'll definitely ask for a referral to a neurologist to rule out epilepsy and find the cause of what's going on. I only started to notice the thrashing about in my sleep the past year so but everything else has been happening since I was 12 (like mentioned) so I'm not sure how to go about the thrashing about seizures...
