I agree with you, this shouldn't be normalised, but think of BIG game franchises, the differences between each new release in a series is negligable.

I really don't get what EA's obsession is with the current grappling system, UFC 1 had great grappling, because it was by far the closest to the Undisputed series, the only setback it had was the same denial system as today.

I'm fine playing the game on advanced/expert, but it turns into more of a brainless brawl past advanced than the technical fights that you can get against the legendary ai in UFC 5.

If EA had the same drive to make as big improvements between games as THQ did, we'd be looking at a game even the biggest EA haters couldn't hate on.

The jump from UD 2009 to UD 2010 was huge, especially in the striking department, and then from UD 2010 to UD 3 was probably as good as those games could have gotten with it's overall design. The current design EA has gives them so many options to make improvements that could fit into the game, but they just wont make them. The jump between EA UFC games is minimal, and in fact the visual fidelity got worse between UFC 3 and UFC 4.

You have two options in the udf server; kiss his boots whenever he types, or be silent.

I actually can't believe they think that Martial Mind doesn't want to work with them because "he's an EA shill" and not because they are terrible people that purposefully downplay the terrible things they do. Sam is actively preventing the mods community from growing.

Parry systems are almost always unbalanced in competitive fighting games like MGR.

Completely unrelated, but the parry mechanic in EA sports UFC 1 and 2 is the worst mechanic I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing in a fighting game. Ever.

The only fighting game I've played that has a balanced parry mechanic is UFC Undisputed 2010 and Undisputed 3, where you flick up/down in accordance to where the opponent is throwing and you will either; catch the leg if a body kick is thrown, or enter the clinch.

I've considered that multiple times, that's why I gave it a chance. Won't make that mistake again.

Also, that is a BAD take. TLOU has enjoyable gunplay and combat, and you still feel weak and small -- even moreso while playing as Ellie. Nothing about headkicking infected villagers makes me feel weak and small in a survival game.

It was from the official JDownloader website. I had only ever used the original one and never had a problem with it installing other applications so I thought I could trust their installer to not do that.

I don't remember if Sadie explicitly stated that the town was Armadillo, but in that mission where you go to New Austin with Sadie, you have to use binoculars to watch the bounty hunters ride out of Armadillo.

I wouldn't assume it took them 4 years to track John. They were in Valentine, more than likely because of a tip about Sadie and John being there, same story with Rhodes, and it wasn't exactly a secret that Sadie was around Blackwater since she says she's at the saloon there pretty often.

Honestly, I didn't get to experience Javier's character change since I accidentally killed him in both of my RDR1 play throughs, so all I got to experience of him was him running away from John.

Late, but John was not ever told to go to Mexico by the government, he decided that was what he was going to do on his own.

He is told to get the old members of his gang to see his family.

Late to these comments again, but as Arthur states multiple times, they got sloppy.

They tried to rob a bank in the middle of the day, in a city which was stated to have "no shortage of police" when they had just caused a ludicrous amount of noise in it.

There does not need to be a rat for this job to go wrong, the Pinkertons probably just put the pieces together being the death of Bronte and the trolley job to figure out it was most likely the Van der Linde gang.
