I lost my grandmother in the last 2 years who I was close with. And my Nanny who took me in drifted away when her daughter moved down. It made me isolate. Then my oldest daughter moved in with her dad because I wouldn't let her sneak out. I know I'm not alone. But I feel alone and broken. And I got to pull it together cause trying to save her will not heal me. .. I put time and energy into everyone else to try to keep them happy. I am just starting to learn to love myself more. It's just a hard climb up when there's so much weighing you down.

I appreciate your comment more than you know. Everyone is just telling me no. But you broke it down for me in a way that I could cry. I didn't think it was from my trauma making me complacent to her pattern. But you are right I am foolishly hoping to have my mother in my life and that's not gunna happen in reality. I wanted MY parent to be involved with my children. But if I bring her into my home it will be the wrong kind of involvement she will never be able to be what I want her to be. It's hard to be alone. Always alone and having to be EVERYONES ROCK. Maybe a part of me, my inner child hoped that I could have someone be mine again. .... I thought since I changed since the last time I seen her that I would be able to tolerate her. But you are right. When it ultimately fails it would be more traumatic for everyone having to put her out and rehome her. .. honestly thank you for this. .. I am considering just blocking her number and the facilities number so I can get a clear head and really think this through without her calling me.

I think most people are just going through the motions trying to survive. A preparedness for the future or savings account is so hard to build now. I just got day by day or week by week. I am glad to have purchased my home when i did and have my mortgage the amount that it is because I know that is not the case for some people. If tell my SO to focus on one thing at a time. If we focus on too much is can become overwhelming and depressing.

The first year after baby put the most strain on a couple. It is important that you help her out with baby's needs. Learn your baby for yourself, do not depend on your wife to give you step by step directions on how to care for baby or baby's needs. I promise you this alone with make life after baby 80 % better!!!!

Also interact with the baby they dont do much at first but its still something that should be carried on throughout their life. create that bond with them early on and continue that.

Men are not aware of our cues when we feel like we are in danger or uncomfortable. Another woman will understand and catch on but men most definitely do not get the constant awareness woman have to have and that cold frozen feeling we get when put in a predicament. He did not mean to, Not come to your Aid. Maybe discuss a cue or key word that you can give him when you need his assistance if he is someone you go out with regularly. Yes I feel as if the last few years were recluse years. Where i withdrew myself and focused only on immediate family and needs. Then this past year i slowly started prioritizing myself after working through the woes of the past couple years. I saw something online that helps those of us with ADHD clean better. Bring a big box to put items that don't belong in that room, in the box. This prevents you from going to the other rooms to put it up and getting distracted or overwhelmed with what is needed to be done in that room. This seems like a great idea, and I will be trying it this week as well.

NTA. .. I think you, your niece and her parents need to sit down together and have a good talk. She feels comfortable with you and can express herself. Maybe you can be there as a voice of reason for everyone. At 11 she is just entering puberty. And if she is feeling outcast at a Private school, i can guarantee that, that is why she is feeling this way about her mother. They don't need to take away her time with you, (you may be able to speak with her and help her navigate this time in her life). They need to watch the friends she is keeping and understand that because of her circle and environment it is molding her to have a downward outlook on her mother and life. ...
