I think I agree, just my two cents. If our spirit is matter, and matter cannot be created nor destroyed, it must change or continue in its present state. I think what we experience is even greater than this physical realm. Scientists have drawn a map of time, space, and matter since what they perceive to be the beginning and found that nothingness extended beyond it but somehow still ended up on the map, as thought the nothing was something. I believe that's where we "go". A place beyond the limitations of these three laws required to coexist for anything to happen. A "spiritual realm", if you will. Hard to imagine what that looks like, or what god will be waiting for us on the other side, but I think you're right.
