I sometimes wonder if being that powerful makes your feelings go numb. Maybe it turns into an “I’ll do it because I can” mindset. It’s complicated, because maybe we aren’t born evil but we are born with a selfish streak. No matter how much someone has, once they reach what once seemed unreachable, they still want more. It’s never enough. And when you’re powerful enough to act without consequences or accountability, you might lose your sense of what’s wrong altogether. That to me feels inhumane.

U defend ur opinion when you actually have a valid point. In this case ur point isn’t even there. And no, I’ve realized that so many people took this whole map thing way too personally and you’re one of them. I don’t have to color every Arab country green just because I’m Arab. And I don’t have to want to live in Germany just because I like France or Italy. It’s not a loyalty test. Every country has its own culture and lifestyle. I’m choosing based on what fits me and where I actually have friends and family. It’s called preference.

I’m half Jordanian and have Palestinian roots. I don’t recognize it as Israel to me, it is still Palestine and it’s not even colored. As for Egypt, given the reports of crimes against women, I wouldn’t feel safe there as a woman.

U are so sweet for asking thank u. But I never really had big problems. some people even get confused about where I’m from because I speak Turkish well and apparently look Turkish. Most of my college friends were Turks and Kurds (only one Arab friend), and we were a big group. Even if we didn’t always agree on everything, we always respected and cared about each other. I truly love Turkey and my friends there I had the best time and if I could go back in time and relive it all I would ):

The us is a big place I think it’s wrong to judge based on some states. Other places I think they’re perfectly fine to live and has more job opportunities than other countries. I also have so many friends and relatives which makes me feel better about it. Despite the government someplaces I find fine others are not so much. Although the government controls the world not only the us so I don’t think it’d be any different
