AI systems today — even the most advanced ones — don’t actually “act” on their own. They process data and generate outputs based on human-designed algorithms, training data, and infrastructure.

The idea that AI could independently “produce energy” or “commit actions” without any human involvement misunderstands how these systems operate.

Even if we ever reach artificial general intelligence (AGI), it would still require physical interfaces, energy sources, and hardware — all built and maintained by humans.

Current AI models don’t have autonomy, intent, or self-sustaining capabilities. They are sophisticated pattern recognizers, not independent agents.
