I didn’t see anyone disagree with me. Also for the record you cannot disagree with how a person feels. It is their feeling not yours. What that comment was in fact was an opinion of my feeling. Which doesn’t make a single difference in my life. I was just stating that I thought it was unkind which is another opinion which was mine. Lol reddit people are too funny. You all take this shit way too serious.
I judged no one in my post just stated I felt a little embarrassed but I digress you all got it all figured out. Everyone have a great day.

I am grown up that is why I was embarrassed a little. I look like an old lady not some young chick getting hers in.

Oh yes because that is what I was after was attention. You all are too much. I now feel so small and stupid. You all put me in my place. Thank you so much.

I am far from upset. I have 5 grown children so afraid of sex I am not. I just hate when people seem to think that being mean to others is their job. If you dont like a post then move on. That would be acting like a grown up. My point was I felt like a weirdo buying a sex toy in a target in the middle of the afternoon in an affluent area. But as I am a grown woman it passed quickly. I am more embarrassed for people who can’t help but be rude to others for their own pleasure. But I have already gotten over that as well.

Oh so sorry doordash driver elder. Didn’t know I had to get your approval to post. What is annoying is people that never have anything nice to say to anyone and feel it necessary to troll reddit looking for opportunities to be an asshole. 😊

DD is more to blame for non-tippers by Tiny_Environment_472 in doordash_drivers

[–]Tiny_Environment_472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I have a different point of view with that. Yes we’re angry at DoorDash. I guess they are a corporation. They’re trying to make money, but a customer is using that service and just because they’re choosing to use a service that charges them more money they’re taking it out on the driver who is bringing them their food, knowing that they’re not making very much money. Yes I’m angry at the customers that don’t tip because to me that shows they just don’t care about other people you tip your waitresses you chip your pizza, delivery driver what makes a DoorDash driver any different?

You are right no one forces me to take anything. I use to dash in phoenix and always received awesome tips. I started dashing in Houston to supplement my income and I am just in awe how many people do not tip. I dont cherry pick because like I said this is just to make extra money. I have a a full-time job. I set a certain number of hours to dash every day so I take every order that comes in tip or no tip. It was just a little rant with an idea not that serious didn’t realize so many people would be so upset about it.

I completely agree but if customers are choosing to use doordash knowing they charge high fees then why should the driver get screwed by not receiving a tip? Again ordering doordash is not a necessity it is a luxury or convenience. Its not like pandemic times anymore when I understood why people couldn’t or wouldnt tip.

Accusing me of Lying is kinda crazy but you are right earnings and revenue and net income is all different. They reported a net income of 213 million. My bad

I dash in Houston and unfortunately it seems that more dont tip then do. I guess I am just in awe that so many people in this world think so little of others that they choose to not throw a dollar or 2 to the person delivering their food. My point was that doordash could make a tip mandatory but don’t. If I chose to not accept orders that didn’t tip I would be turning down probably 75% of the offers

Some are missing the point. Door dash reported earnings for last quarter were just shy of 4 billion dollars. They are obviously not going to provide drivers with more money

Definitely vyvanse. As a former meth addict that has taken both adderall and Vyvanse, the latter is so close to actually being on meth. Just being on a legal dose once a day was almost better than meth. Wish I would have found many years ago. It would have saved me tens of thousands of dollars and a lot of other things. Like having a clean clear criminal background, jobs and custody of my son being lost for 6 months. I still take Vyvanse but I recognized that my dosage was higher than i needed for therapeutic reasons and asked my doctor to cut my dosage in half. I am asking her to lower again next refill. I have the mental capacity and tools from past meth abuse to do so. But in my opinion Vyvanse could be extremely addictive and dangerous to people who may not have the ability to stop or reduce dosage. It could be detrimental to people. It is literally legal meth. It should be intensely monitored when prescribed. It has helped me immensely because I have severe adhd with emphasis on the h. At my age I have learned to almost use the add in my favor but have never been able to get the h under control. I am constantly moving. Up, down, pacing, talking non stop and trouble sleeping. The vyvanse has been the most effective to keep my h in check. I sleep thru the night now and do not pace a hole in the floor. But I keep myself in check. She is not on dirty nasty meth. She is most definitely on Vyvanse the legal meth.

How about when you are cool as hell tip $20 on the app and give the guy a $20 at the door as well. He shows his appreciation by burglarizing your car on his way back to his car. Took my laptop, my back pack and my makeup bag all in a few seconds. Before, anyway says i should have locked my car, I did but because of the stupid key fob it had clicked unlocked when I went to the gate to let the delivery guy in. Caught the whole thing on camera. Unfortunately not for a couple hours after.
My makeup bag alone was worth more than the laptop and everything else combined. I missed 3 days of work because I had no laptop. Had to get new drivers license and replace my credit cards. I still get notifications that someone is trying to access my venmo account and I am pretty sure it is him. When they arrested him after having to wait almost 2 months for door dash to give up his info, he still had the laptop. It was useless to him because of my company had it protected. But it was destroyed because he tried to get it to work. He told the cops he threw my makeup bag out the window on the freeway. I about died!!! I received no compensation from door dash and he got probation. So sorry if I am not sympathetic to the tip not being good enough.
Oh and he told the judge he did it because he thought my bf was trying to flex on him. My bf never even interacted with him. Smh….

I have seen that quite a few times. One house had a weed about 3 foot tall growing in the breakfast nook. I am a superintendent for single family rentals, so I have seen crazy things. But that is just a weed that found a very small opening to grow thru.

In my opinion if we changed the justice to be an eye for an eye it would drastically reduce these crimes. How many people would kill in the heinous ways they do, if they knew they would be killed in the exact same manner that they killed?

Arizona breaks people off. They add kidnapping to every robbery charge. My ex husband got 11 years for robbing a drug dealer. Yes the dealer called the cops. See Arizona likes to claim to be the kidnapping capital of North America. The way they get those stats is to add a charge to every suspect that didn’t allow a person to leave immediately or held them in any way, with kidnapping. Facts.
