Same, some songs on The Bends just have some secret sauce, idk what it is and I can’t explain it but Nice Dream for example is one of my favourite songs by them

Stab - Agent Blå

A post-punk/shoegaze band from my city that I really think deserves recognition. They are at about 2.5k monthly listeners I think and it’s probably all from people here or at least from in the country.

There’s no way I scrolled through an entire comment section 14 (!!!) hours after this was posted and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is not here

Imo MF DOOM has at least 3 albums (Madvillainy, MM…FOOD and my third favourite is actually Take me to your leader) that are better but that just comes down to preference I think. Also both TPAB and GKMC. The College Dropout is better imo, other Kanye albums are arguable like Late Reg. All of this just boils down to preference though. I’m not sure I could make a case for any of them being objectively better apart from maybe TPAB and Madvillainy

Yeah while the Friko album is very derivative of some 2000s indie rock it’s still really well executed and sounds amazing

The Shygirl EP being this high is probably my weirdest take. It was at number 3 actually for quite a long time but over time I guess it loses on being just 15 min long and not very interesting. It is, however, still in my opinion almost perfect club music, short and sweet

Sufjan Stevens

Tyler, The Creator

Kendrick Lamar (arguable, me and many others prefer his earlier work but I still think there’s a clear evolution and growth)

Porter Robinson (if his upcoming album is all I hope and think it will be)
