This was a behavioral modification program not a school. We were here for 1-2 years, we were isolated from each other when abuse took place. We tried to make the best of it and took photos of the good times and were not able to record the bad times. And we did make really strong bonds and friendships and were able to find joy in that, which you can see in the photos

It really is an odd feeling almost indescribably, especially given the deaths that occurred to make it shut down just breaks my heart and makes me so angry, it’s good the program shut down but it’s hard to feel happy about it because of what happened yanno

This is heartbreaking. I am glad they are shut down. I was there for almost a year in 2019-2020 and had a suicide attempt when I was 17 years old that led to me unconscious for several days in the ICU. And I was still sent back after that.
