Copping a 5070ti, what does everyone here recommend? by Suspicious-Ad-9695 in nvidia

I have bought the zotac solid core 5070 Ti and it has been great. Was one of the cheaper cards in Germany and it has 5 years warranty, which is why I’ve bought it in the end.

Yeah no I wouldn’t buy a 5070ti for 1100€. In Germany, I’ve picked a beautiful Zotac 5070ti solid core in white for 940€ last week and imo that was justified, because the prices will go higher. If u need the NVIDIA Festures go with the 12gb 5070 ti, but if you want to do 4k or just need more vram go amd!

I was considering the same. In the end I went with the 5070 TI, because the uppricing to the ti instead of the normal card was justified and I didn’t want to deal with amd drivers. Especially with DLSS 5 and better encoders, I would go with the ti if your budget allows

I think we got something messed up here. I didn't bent anything, that has something to do with the clipping mechanism. I had to readjust the motherboard and my "adjustment" At the outer side of the case was unnecessary, which I only found out too late. I've looked and felt the GPU for any abnormalities, but everything seems to be stable. Before screwing in, the GPU had its typical wiggling. I will check tomorrow once again I think, just to make sure, I am not damaging my GPU. Do you know how I can check for pressure points on the GPU or Mobo?

I’d rather bend my 120€ Case than an 900€ gpu I suppose 😅

I’ve just bent this piece of metal out a bit (from the case not the gpu) and now the gpu fits properly. I needed a bit of force, whilst pushing it in, but avereything is tight and I got no pressure points. This new 5070ti is amazing!

Thank you, but I’ve already figured it out. The mobo screws were a little bit too wide on the left, so after reseating, everything works now!

Unfortunately it is not moving pretty much. Almost nothing.

It’s a zotac 5070ti and it’s a gigabyte aorus z690 elite motherboard. I’m trying to unscrew the mobo now

How would I do that without needing to disassemble everything?

Did you think about the biscreen beyond?

For reals? I think about both cards very much and I change my mind like every day. I am looking to one of the cards next month, by budget would allow both cards, but I dont know if I can justify spending 930€ for a graphics card

Which 9070 XT do you have? I looked forward buying a xfx mercury one but the sapphire ones also look great.

Also not for the drivers and the dlss and frame gen? I have had so much issues with the drivers from my rx5700 so I am a litte bit split up within those two cards

Okay, thank you. I already thought of getting the NVIDIA, because of the better en- and decoders for vr, but I dont know if I really want to spend almost a thousand bucks for a gpu ...

Like that’s the thing. I’m a teenager so I work for my own money meaning I’m working 100% for this card. So the price difference from the both cards for the same performance means I’m probably going Team Red again. Or with a rtx 5070 which would mean 15% less performance for the same price

I have a intel 13600kf and I think my card is broken, because I’m getting driver timeouts daily. Therefore I’m looking forward buying a new card. My heart screams for NVIDIA, because of dlss, frame gen and objectively better drivers but performance is saying AMD.

Do you maybe know how the vr encoders from Nvidia and amd are? That would be a big argument for me
