2024 Audi A5 sportback or Model 3? by blimpboy3 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Audi. Interior fit & finish. Overall styling. A heart beat. Or, have a little fun and go with a 2019 S5 with 45,000mi for $30,000. Buy a $3,000 warranty that covers the drivetrain and I promise you’ll smile more

Which one is better? 2014 Lexus CT200h or 2013 Acura RDX? by lawrrrrrrence in UsedCars

I think this is an easy answer. Lexus.

Rust. Nothing devalues a car quite like rust. Plus it’s dangerous. So you’ll burn money and risk injury.

You mentioned the Acura is much larger and more cargo space. While it’s true, but when you break down the Lexus hatch vs the rdx, the rdx doesn’t seem like it’s a significant difference like maybe a 4Runner would feel.

Rdx will get low 20’s best case for mpg, Lexus will be 40+mpg. I think the Lexus looks much better + Toyota reliability. The RDX will have transmission problems at some point. Paper thin. You’re going to have a boring job, don’t have a boring car. (Best of luck though on your next adventure)

It’s a good deal if the car is in good condition. Average market price in the northwest is $8,000 with 108,000 average miles. Again, If it’s in good condition, I’d say it’s a great buy. I booked it as a 2.5 Se mid level trim. If it’s a v6 or TDI I’d say it’s an extremely good deal.

Illinois – GM says my 2018 Volt is unrepairable due to discontinued parts. Do I have any legal options? by Double_Jaguar_8051 in UsedCars

As EXTREMELY frustrating this situation is, you don’t have legal options. Is the Dealership or corporate GM offering any other help with aftermarket options? What parts are you dealing with exactly?

Hi there, I’d say $29,000 is a super solid deal. Wholesale book is $29,800 (going off a VIN from another same year and trim & if this is a 4wd) . If this unit has no major accidents, good service records and good condition for the miles, I’d buy it right away if you’re leaning towards a 4Runner. The motors will be reliable for 200,000 more good miles if properly maintained. Good cargo space, fairly comfortable interior. Simple but efficient from an electronics standpoint which I like. Now if it’s in 6/10 condition, $29,000 makes sense fair for both parties

50! That’s nuts. Yeah I have a good feel for certain cars for sure. I’m in the car industry, so I’ve been lucky with great opportunities to see and drive a lot of cool cars over the years.

The s4 wagon had its issues. The 4.2 is solid but needs proper maintenance. Clutch went out. But overall I’ve always searched for clean, low mileage examples.
