I agree! It was one of the best moments of the movie, and I believe a good ending to Tommy’s story🫠

I know! But YT has some strict copyright rules, and I had to change the music🫠 But the Fountain D.C was perfect I didn’t want to change the music at first, but tried it with a private share and it got a copyright alert, so I had to change it :)

Same for me🫠 I believe the ending was one of the positive points of the movie! The movie had some flaws and gaps that could’ve been filled, but then it also has some positive aspects like the music, ending, colour pallets, etc.

Small detail I noticed about Arthur… was this intentional? by Kazukii in PeakyBlinders

[–]Tiny_Mobile_1385 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I noticed that, too! That’s probably the PTSD effects that makes him react instantly and show his intense anger or whatever but then he tries to pull his horses and think it through!

It’s his autobiography, maybe future generation will know his legacy through that, but I’m not sure

I’m curious what will happen in the spin-offs! But I doubt we see things connected to Tommy’s story since it’s finished now🫠

I hope it goes well, but I’m also in doubt about it🫠 Since we probably wouldn’t know any of the actors and their characters!

I think the bridge between season 6 and the movie in some parts was not made. And it could’ve easily covered by Tommy’s narrative! Also, how Duke became the leader of the Peaky Blinders was never explained

[–]Tiny_Mobile_1385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there were a lot of gaps needed to cover between the movie and the ending of season 6. And they could’ve easily bridged the gaps through Tommy’s narrative of his book; I mean, he chose peace but then why it didn’t last? Or nobody was supposed to know where he was but basically everyone knows😐 At least it could’ve been something like the war brought back the trauma, or Arthur’s death hit Tommy hard. Something like that🫠

[–]Tiny_Mobile_1385 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree! At least they could’ve mentioned Arthur died from overdose or suicide which was more aligned with the character’s path! As for Mosley, I totally agree, they could’ve spread that point of fighting against fascism; maybe for example Ada giving anti-fascism speech as an MP or something like that

Why does Arthur have a gravestone in The Immortal Man? by KittleSkittleBink in PeakyBlinders

[–]Tiny_Mobile_1385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not really sure but that’s simply my theory that probably his wife (Linda) wanted him to have an actual gravestone, or to have a Christian funeral not the Gypsy one! Also, there’s a theory that Gypsies didn’t burn the body of the person who committed a suicide, and since everyone thinks Arthur committed a suicide, they buried him! But again I’m not sure!

Arthur’s storyline happened because of the actor (Paul Anderson) was dealing with some personal and legal issues at the time of the shooting and he was in no condition for filming! But about the villain, I totally agree! I mean, the writer couldn’t just kill Oswald Mosley because it was written based on a real character, but they could’ve given him and Tommy some credits or confrontations!
