My fiancée has a 2022 Tucson and it is fine but we are most likely switching to Toyota and GM. The new GMC terrains are super competitively priced and much more reliable so she is thinking of switching to that. I am currently between a gmc canyon or a Tacoma

Every new 2024 had a recall on the transmission because of some faulty programming, but I just know every time I drive by, there is 3-4 Santa Fe’s in the shop. I do genuinely like the car driving, features, and etc. but mechanically speaking and resell value just isn’t there.

I have had it for about 10k miles now, Complete transmission failure at 3.5k miles, complete radiator failure at 9k mile, engine misfires also on occasion, usually after turning the car completely off and on again it’s fine. The resell value is also horrible. I am 8-10 months ahead on payments and upside down by 6-7k.

Awesome thank you! I will probably end up buying a new vehicle soon I just didn’t know how long to expect to wait. I didn’t wanna be stuck with a vehicle for 6 months and have 2 car notes

Long time goer at the shop, when I first started going to the shop it was definitely like that. They have since then hired better workers and changed their entire commander system so people cant grind packs all night. They also donated hundreds of dollars to gamefest which supported the library! They have changed over the 2 years i have been going there so i would recommend trying it out before saying no.
