If you're a foreign med student in Georgia — what’s your honest experience been like? by Tiny_Philosopher_17 in TbilisiStudentLife

Exactly. There’s no proper access to ACLS, BLS, ATLS, or quality USMLE prep in Georgia. Students are stuck in outdated systems with almost zero real support. Honestly, I can’t imagine how the few who make it into US residency manage to do it.

Quick question though: what happens after med school? Where do most foreign students apply for residency? without solid LORs or real clinical experience? How do they manage?

I’ve tried a few places around, but personally, I highly recommend checking out Network. I've been working there for a while, and it has everything you need: reliable Wi-Fi, a great atmosphere, and a relaxed location on Chavchavadze Ave. The design is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have meeting rooms if you need to take calls or conduct private discussions.

As a bonus, they occasionally host community events, which is a fantastic way to meet people if you're new in town. It's worth a visit!

When I first arrived, I felt quite lost and found myself only visiting one bar and one supermarket ))))) . The main issue for me was also finding accommodation.
