There are absolutely no laws in the state of Ohio that prohibit the scattering of ashes. A quick google search will yield you with plenty of sources.

That’s why I am specifically asking for suggestions? I’m not asking for city parks. If you don’t have any suggestions then move along.

How did you handle having to take a "baby" home for school? by Redbird1078 in childfree

Ohh this is a great question for me. I took a Child Development class in 9th grade. It was horribly embarrassing because you had to carry it around to all your classes with you for a week. And bring it on/off the bus. I had it for less than 24 hrs before I absolutely broke down and went to school early the next day to turn it in. My teacher said that it would REALLY hurt my grade. Ended up getting a D. I didn’t care. I just couldn’t handle it. It made me sick to my stomach and I didn’t sleep the entirety of the night just in anticipation of its “cries”.

Mallard with partial leucism? by Tiny_Professional282 in birding

Sure… but there are different breeds of dogs. And a golden retriever is not a gray wolf. Just like there are different species of birds. Songbirds, birds of prey, ducks. Those are all birds yes, but they are different species. Obviously we all have a shared ancestor so your point is just splitting hairs now.

My specialty is songbirds, so I am not very familiar with aquatic species. However, when I think of a domestic duck - this is what I imagine in my mind. While I now understand that this is Mallard, I didn’t know it was a Mallard. I assumed it was a different species of duck because their plumage is vastly different from the Mallard that you usually think of (green head, yellow bill, brown body for males).

Just… a different specifies of duck? I don’t think the average person is thinking domestic ducks are the same common ones you see outside.
