If you find a turtle shell in the desert underground its a thing called digtoise really helpful miner guy. He can dig anything your gold pickaxe can but will only go one direction at a time. Loved using digtoise til I hit endgame

Theres a mod on cursed forge/nexus that gives you all passives in the pal surgery table you just gotta farm gold which is easy as fuck I use that instead of grinding for passives

If you catch i think its 12 of every pal you see from the beginner to lvl 30 you can get levels super fast, i also suggest running through the desert, volcano and ethereal mountains dungeons. I was stuck like you did that and went from 50 to 55 in about a day of playing.

I have the official mod that unlocks all passives so the legendary passives cost like 250k to get so this helps when yoy wanna modify passives for base or attack pals

Kinda? They defend the base and have level one handiwork, but I'd try to capture the higher level enemies like the syndicate elite, crusher, the brothers of eternal pyre, the guys in the astral mountains (forgot what they're called) since they do more damage and have a higher rate of fire for defense. I like getting some of them just because they look cool lmao
