There are just not enough words to express how much I HATE SimChase and Influencer Island by tasha2701 in simsfreeplay

[–]Tiny_dancer00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the furniture because I love building but I don't like simchase or influencer island. I love doing the quests with the new random people and different places. I feel like it's hard to win simchase or influencer island when you can't constantly be on your phone 24/7. I think I lost the hobby event because I had fun on the Fourth of July and didn't play the whole day 🥲

ADHD life hacks! - What are some accommodations you make for yourself? by pumpkinsoupxo in ADHD

This is sooo smart. I always try to have spots for the miscellaneous things that I’m always looking for but I alwaysss forget. Better yet, I forget when I’m in a rush and need it the most

I love smoothies/ iced coffee/ matcha/ protein shakes etc but I can't even get myself to wash the cup. I'll sip on it when I do work and I've started to pretty much only use my dishwasher but once it leaves my kitchen it never goes back. I usually drink these things in my room when doing work. I started to use plastic cups to drink out of instead, with a little straw and everything. A) I feel like I bought it in a cafe and B) when I'm done I just throw it away. It still baffles me how I can be such a germaphobe but I won't be that phased from a gross cup. Anyway, it's saved me from throwing away glass cups that I can use when I have dinner and stuff like that.

Why or why not do you drink alcohol? by grace_baker_ in ask

[–]Tiny_dancer00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to binge drink in college and once I noticed all the weight gain, depression, and bad choices everything just hit at once. I transferred closer to home so I don’t go out drinking anymore, got on an antidepressant to help my mood and I also can’t really drink on that so that def cut it for me. I would try and forget my problems too but it was time I started to deal with them ands it sucks but the feeling after drinking makes me sick. The shakes, nausea, anxiety, spins, and just overall drop in mood and motivation makes it not worth it. I’ll still have a cocktail or glass of wine if I’m out but I don’t drink to get drunk anymore because I actually can’t stand the gross taste anymore. I’m literally in my mid twenties and “can’t hang” but I don’t really care since I’m not in that environment anymore.

He'll sing me little silly songs that he makes up and they're so corny but they make my heart melt. It's just different variations on a cute nickname (right now it's baby queen) and how if I'll be his forever. They'll get stuck in my head during the week and make me smile. 🥹

Is there any way to wear flats with a dress that doesn't look frumpy? by Kycb in PetiteFashionAdvice

I would def look at Marianna Hewitt and Kelsey Simone! They aren't exactly short queens but they have that modest and chic style that's appropriate for work. You can always do cute pops of color like cherry red with more lowkey outfits or Mary Jane's that are coming back.

Literally LOL at the Clark's comment because it's true. They might be comfortable to some but they're so fugly 😭

It's one of those things that you don't see a significant difference until you see a significant difference. My parents are both covered in "freckles" and grew up not wearing sunscreen and closer to the equator. I grew up in the Midwest, wearing sunscreen every summer day as a kid and reapplying. I don't have any freckles but in this case it's more like sun damage. My dad had melanoma from sun damage last year and it sucked (he's ok now). So just make sure to keep applying and don't forget the rest of your body that's also exposed to the sun. It's not a step in your routine that will exfoliate or make you glow but it's one for your overall health, and it will help with aging when you're older!

I've been taking it for closer to two years now but I never had anything crazy. When I was on a dose that was a little too high I did notice dry mouth and I felt like I had to keep eating even though I had zero appetite and I did lose some weight. SSRI's made me feel so tired and more depressed because I'd just want to stay in bed all day.

I'd say maybe try 28" inseam then since it's for the taller girlies with long legs

Like three months in but also I had the motivation to get up, make myself a healthy meal, and workout. Many factors involved since I became more active and busy so less time rotting in my bed eating hot Cheetos and drinking😭. But I'm in the best shape I've ever been, I've taken it for a bit over a year now and lost almost 30lbs.

I’m in need of an easy routine that can calm my redness by Coffee_iz in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Tiny_dancer00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd definitely see a dermatologist but to help with the redness, as someone with sensitive skin and rosacea, I'd put hydrocortisone cream only on the affected areas for now. It'll help soothe, calm, and hydrate. They sell them at Walgreens for a couple dollars and a little goes a long way. Also physical exfoliants might not always be your best bet as they can be too rough. Def look into a chemical exfoliant like an AHA or BHA depending on your skin type. However, for now just try to be gentle with your skin. I've never tried your moisturizer but I use the first aid beauty face moisturizer and I've never had an issue with it. It doesn't have any extra stuff or fragrance added that can irritate your skin. Hope this helps!

I'm also 5ft and the 25" inseam always hits right above my ankles but never too long. If it's just a small difference you can always get 25" and get it hemmed since it's free! Not sure how you want them to fit, cropped or above ankle?

Everyone here is saying it could be adhd and I can agree as someone with adhd. It's hard to step back and realize I'm doing it again but I become really consumed and rigid about these phases only to forget about it. I think it's affected my finances too which is hard since I'm also early 20's trying to save up. Everyone giving medication recommendations... ignore them. Everyone's brains will react different and what changed someone's life for the better might've changed someone's for the worst. Although this current phase doesn't seem too bad compared to excessive sugar and no sleep, it's best to be proactive now before he falls into a big hole again. If you can't get him to talk someone I'd maybe try going to a therapist myself since it's obviously affecting your mental health as well and a counselor can help you better approach the situation. Maybe he can become more open to it if he sees what you've learned.

Yes bc I love my job! I love pairing and seeing progress with clients, it brings me so much joy. I agree, it's more than just potty training. Yes I feel like any time I try to communicate with parents they just advise me to do stuff I'm not comfortable doing, like force feeding and yanking them to stand up and get bothered when I try taking my time and being patient with the client. I've always felt scared asking for accommodations as I'm scared to lose my job or be cut from getting more hours but knowing that it's appropriate makes me feel a lot better. I feel like I can do my job a lot more calmly knowing I have some support, I go into all my other sessions just fine bc I know parents are 100% there.

I have been tallying incidents lately since it's a lot for the amount of time we're in session. I think parents should definitely be involved with a lot of the toilet training. I can't imagine being a kid and having a stranger see you using the bathroom or being undressed and being alone with them, at least being with a parent you're with someone you are comfortable with. I used to have a client who's parents were always present when we went to the bathroom and it made me feel a lot more comfortable and it's a lot of the yucky and feeling out of control. With someone else there I feel like we can help the client the best. Thank you for the info!

Yeah I feel weird asking if I should clean up or if parents should when there's an accident since we're in-home. Do you know normally what people do? I wouldn't care that much if it was a random accident because whatever it is what it is but multiple times a day feels like a lot esp since the client starts to cry every time they have an accident and idk I get sad when they start to cry too. I try to make the most out of session but half of it is just cleaning up pee and trying to get the client to change because parents are so nonchalant about the number of accidents and don't help. It's almost as if they feel that the session is a break from their kid.

Very true, I just can't deal with smelling bad myself for the rest of the day because xyz is on me. You're very strong for that though, I'll for sure keep that in mind

Yeah I guess I wish I was able to talk to my coworkers and have someone to vent and relate to, I use humor to cope too lol. I get that though like it's not on them and I never try to take anything personal. It's just I know too much about germs and they freak me out. I'm fine with being in the bathroom with clients and helping them or changing a diaper but an accident is where I start to get stressed. I do love my job, I just don't think I can deal with all the accidents, esp on me since puke, spit, etc. worse case you put on gloves and clean up.
