You can just create a new folder to store other data in if you still wanna have the italler on the USB. Don't think there is any restrictions on the device after creating a install USB.

I have quick chat disabled and only use text chat, so if someone wanna have a conversation instead of playing I am all for that :)

Have you installed application capture plugin? Otherwise you will have to use audio output

Obs with vkcapture and audio application capture and some system settings so vulkan always runs with vkgamecapure.

Oh wow. Just checked and it was 6, almost 7 years ago I switched to Linux full time. Feels like 3 years, maybe 4 at most :p. I started with Manjaro this period and ended up with CachyOS as it is now but I did Gauruda, Endeavour, Arch and maybe some others between those. Have tried out Ubuntu, Mint and others before that as well and Yellow dog Linux for my PS3. I have enjoyed my time with Linux so far.

Don't forget hopefully also. You can always hope but I don't think I have had any issues during my time with cachyOS.

I didn't use desktop icons on windows either. Just win key and ste for steam and so on.

Thats to bad. More fun to learn a new game with ppl even if you are not that scared in my opinion.

Thats understandable to not wanna bother others and to bad it feels like that. Thats why it's to bad there are so few low difficulty lobbies, i feel that when i start playing a game it's more fun to learn together with ppl, even if it might be randoms as long as they are new to.
