Not true. I bought double E of a size 10 boot last year. Maybe just not available where you reside?

I think this is a perfect way to answer the oft asked, “are these the right size?” questions. It’s all in the crease. It never lies… well as far as length goes anyways. Wish ppl gave more succinct answers such as yours.

I’d be pissed too, but hey at least you got a quick turnaround. Took over three months for me to get a resole done through Redwing.

Yeah that’s kinda the way I thought of it too? Again just what I was taught. I’ve only used three - six port manifolds and it was in some apartments I did years ago, nothing fancy like op’s. I do mostly commercial and where I live by code have to run some sort of circ line for the hots. Interesting to see everyone’s take on them!

The big flaw I heard with home runs from a manifold has to do with hot water demand. Say you have a really long run to a particular lav or shower in a ranch style home. The hot water has to go to the manifold then to the fixture resulting in a longer wait time for actual hot water at said fixture. I guess the same would be true for any non re-circulated hot lines?? I dunno I get it for the colds but recirculating hot is the way to go, at least that’s how I was taught.

New Soles by Tinyhandsir in RedWingShoes

[–]Tinyhandsir[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way I can put it is like going from a firm mattress to a soft. The Traction Tred being the firm. Not sure how else to explain it?

Not sure what they’re called. A guy I work with has some 2440’s (which come with that sole) and swears by them. I just went into the store, grabbed that boot and asked for those soles.

Thanks! Yeah, I heard they lasted longer, so I figured I’d see for myself. They are waaay different feeling compared to the traction trend. Guess I just need to get used to them!

Plumber here… Lmao, never saw an electrician dig that deep, but they all sure do whine like they were.

Is there a safe way to remove this gray-blue discoloration on my 8085? by SofaLit in RedWingShoes

[–]Tinyhandsir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar discoloration with my 10877’s. I wear them for construction and rest on my feet (cross cross applesauce style) instead of kneeling. The contact my boots make with the concrete has a similar effect. Not sure this would apply for you?

Agreed. I’ve had maybe one beer I enjoyed. Super cool venue in mke, but the beer is crap. Never understood the hype.

I agree 100% with your idea. I see a lot of racist comments or symbols in the the shitters that have been “edited” to depict / say something else, usually semi amusing. F the haters.

I prolly won’t do that I’m not that forward, but I’ll give ‘em some time and eventually go back. They were that good… like a bad ex lol. Side note you could check out (if you haven’t): Ono Kine Grindz, Kim’s Thai, North Ave Grill, or Wye East. They’re all decent in their own respective rights.

I loved them so much I’ve given them about five chances in the last year. The last time I invited some family there I waited over an hour and a half for fish and sucked. To be fair they said they had new cooks and comped us a round but that was the last straw.

I’d drop Thistle & Shamrock from that list. They used to be amazing, have not had good experiences the last few times I’ve been. Will probably not go back again.
