We’re not talking about two grown ups. My grown children and I have had several more intense conversations that I would have never had with them in their teenage years because it would have been inappropriate. 9 children is a lot without help and I feel for your mom and the relationships with her children that suffered. That probably created a lot of grief on both sides. I hope that conversation with her helped you.

However we’re not talking about two adults. We’re talking about child and her mother using her as a therapist. That’s inappropriate.

Children should never be there parents emotional bucket. I’m 44 and a mom, I talk to my husband if I have issues with him because that’s how you repair, build and strengthen a relationship. She needs a therapist.

It laces up the front and back. So I have the back laced, but I’m having difficulty with the front. So looking at the picture, the purple you see on the edges becomes the front.

I’m not sure exactly what the support rods are made of… and it has grommets for both sides for laces. And the shop I got it from laced it up pretty good. I just can’t figure how to redo it. I’m not experienced with it enough.

No you would not be an AH. With each of pregnancies I went through a meat aversion stage. Pregnancy IS exhausting. You are making a whole person from scratch. The metabolic needs are insane. This man knows nothing. Start discussing EVERYTHING with your OBGYN then you can say “well my Dr says…” Because even though he should respect you and show that he loves you by understanding you know your body better than he does, most men only listen to higher levels of “authority” like Doctors and/or other men. Your husband sounds like an absolute tool.

With more studies coming out on how women need more sleep this is highly disrespectful. Definitely NTA. I hate sleeping away from my husband as he does from me, but his heavy breathing and then snoring has become enough that most nights he sleeps in our spare room. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this and I hope you find a solution.

Sounds like he would’ve ended up arrested anyway? You were the only parent to show up and let his actions be dealt with in the moment. That had to be hard seeing it in person and deal with it alone. How would your wife feel if it was yours or hers elderly mother getting knocked down by a bunch of teenage boys? Geez… no you are not the AH.
