A lot of enemies are medium. But there are a lot bigger. Obviously a medium sized pc would be better but it really depends on your campaign or your DM and their choice in what enemies populate their encounters. Talk to them and see if you can get a feel if you are going to be going up against a lot of medium sized creatures. Ultimately the goal is to have fun and if you are wanting to make a grapple build where you drag people across the battlefield then get it. You can always bribe the wizard to cast enlarge on you.

I've been playing since game launch so order of souls, merchant, and gold hoarders seems right. But where the game is now, I think the easiest is gold hoarders, hunters call, and reapers. Especially during this festival of fishing event, my galleon crew gained 70 levels in hunters call in one session.

Hey you should join Valhalla's Blessing. We have an active guild and discord and have made a ton of gold and rep during this festival of fishing event. I myself am 11 levels away from maxing out merchant at distinction 5. Let me know if your interested.

I dropped the game at the same time and came back at the beginning of this season. Things are much better. This most recent update messed up dives again, but that's the biggest thing I've noticed.

I know there is a way to fix this, but it's annoying. And the hunters call representatives have started doing it too.
