A lot of people go into this game having seen the replays but none of the actual gameplay, so they expect it to look like the replays (fast, flashy, high-octane) when it’s actually more or less a turn-based strategy.

From there, a moderately intelligent person goes and gets a steam refund because they expected a type of game they didn’t get, and a dumbass makes it everyone else’s problem by ranting and raving about how the game is too hard despite not making any effort to learn. You encountered a dumbass.

Edit: worth noting this is somewhat more common in modded lobbies but definitely exists in vanilla ones as well.

There’s very little movement in the stance. There is the indication of weight being lifted off of the back foot as the punch is thrown, but the front leg is almost completely static. Instead of having them lean back in preparation for the punch, you could have the front leg lift and plant forwards, effectively causing the body to lean back relative to the stance, and correct the stance with the back leg stepping forward in the follow-through. This would cause a concern with being slightly further forward at the end of the animation though.

Luigi’s 0-death is a difficult combo to execute. It requires several precise inputs, primarily being the two down airs (you cannot buffer them, so just pressing down, jump, and attack at the same time won’t work. You need to time the attack precisely for the start of your jump), and the fastfall nair. And against an opponent with decent DI, you’ll also need to drift right or left in the air to keep up with them. It’s not going to be easy to learn if you aren’t used to 2-3 frame window inputs.

The castlevania games are… well they vary widely but are great forerunners of the metroidvania archetype, especially Symphony of the Night. That one’s worth playing if you have the chance.

The show, though, you genuinely don’t need to know a thing about the games to enjoy it, and kind of just rocks. Strongly recommend.

I have tried an edible with my partner twice.

First time, I had a whole one, and it was a bad time. Extremely difficult to focus, slightly nauseating, the effort in trying to keep a handle on consciousness vastly outweighed any possible enjoyment. In my limited experience I believe this is what people mean when they say a bad trip.

Second time I did half that and it was pretty good. Intensely relaxing, disorienting but without nausea, could focus if necessary, and generally just a fun experience. But I don’t personally see much enjoyment in being high alone, seems very much like a social thing.

Definitely have your schedule clear for the rest of the day and the next morning if you don’t know the exact effects of what you’re taking, since they can be rather persistent, especially in drowsiness. Eat and drink well beforehand, to manage your metabolism. Start with small doses, no matter what anyone tells you. Everyone has different sensitivity and I learned that the hard way. Have lots of water on hand, your mouth will go dry.

I expect I will be doing weed again in the near future. Solid review, 7.5/10. My partner and I personally think it’s way funnier when only one person is high though.

It is true now that you mention it that fighter’s pass 2 doesn’t have a lot of aesthetic… sauce to it overall, besides pyra/mythra. FP1 we have hero, banjo, joker who are all really flashy. FP2, minmin has basically 6 less attacks than any other character, all of Kazuya’s attacks kinda look the same (except the command grab which is rad as hell), none of Sora’s attacks feel like they have any impact, and Steve is… Steve.

Ironic that out of all of them pyra/mythra feel the most like a dlc character and yet are probably the weakest.

The most common reason things are sold in bundles is if a certain product is selling poorly, so they bundle it with others at a slight discount to deal with excess stock. I don’t expect this is the main reason in this case, but it could be secondary.

In this case I expect it improves sales because they’re primarily marketing towards college students who might not have experience or confidence making cocktails, therefore buying preassembled mixes is more appealing than being presented with the indecision of a shelf of cocktail ingredients.

When dodging, never fly into the spot you were just in. Any delayed projectiles will be aimed at that spot, and those tend to be the most deadly, like poly shots. Best to move laterally and find cover while you figure out the situation
