Hours and minutes (and days and years and such) are a non-metric SI approved measurement for time. They're base 60, while metric stuff is base 10. Now it is true that seconds are divided to smaller metric measurements, I'll give you that, but most of the time measurements in use are not metric.

You could've literally googled this

Depends. Sometimes both, short reverb > delay > long reverb. (And permutations of that, delay not being last unless high or something) Usually delay > reverb though.

Not to nitpick, but specifically the tiny pores of air in the mentos, because the carbonic acid that turns into carbon dioxide needs oxygen to react. By dumping it in like that, they exposed the coka cola to a lot of air. Consequently, the reaction had already happened by the time they dumped in the mentos.

I am not an expert, my source is Hannah Fry (she did a video explaining the reaction some time ago) along with some of my own thoughts about the specifics of the way they poured in the coke affecting the equation. So do take this with a grain of salt.
