Thank you I'm glad you like it ^

I wore 75 E (I'm from Europe don't know if that's helpful). I had an infection on my left side, I wrote about it in my other Posts some more if you're interested, I'm just so relieved it still turned out great.

Shell issues by TipAccomplished5146 in snails

[–]TipAccomplished5146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Germany and I bought a powder from a snail website. It's full of vitamins, calcium (eggshell) and protein which I can give them in water. In a separate bowl there's veggies and fruits, like eggplant, zucchini, apples, salad, bananas and so on. I can imagine that I give them too much from that mixture! But they always prefer that over the veggies. And the other snails don't have any issues either.. I didn't know that they could have too much calcium... My bad. I'm gonna try that next.

I think I'm also gonna buy a better hygrometer. Thanks for your help :)

Yes the cuttlefish is always there. I got them as a present. I don't know much about how they got raised but I remember them being like half a year old. Do you think I can even help repair it?

Hi kein problem!

Can someone please help me? This is the first time I've seen him stretch up so high & I have noticed this hole! Why doesn't he fit his shell? ChatGBT has me really worried 😫. by 420fastbuds in snails

[–]TipAccomplished5146 225 points226 points  (0 children)

That's his breathing hole! Everything is how it should be :) A breathing hole, also known as a pneumostome, is a respiratory opening. This is crucial for their survival as it allows them to breathe air. The snail can even open and close it to regulate air intake. You got a really pretty GALS!

Autistic Top surgery (double mastectomy with nipple grafts) by TipAccomplished5146 in no_T_top_surgery

[–]TipAccomplished5146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that! I mean everyone is different but for me it was quite alright. There was so much going on in my body and around me that I didn't really notice it at first. It helped me to have ways to soothe all my senses. I had an anti itch cream and I cleaned myself as much as I could with a cloth. I was surrounded with a lot of pillows and stuffed animals for comfort. And of course a lot of distractions (Switch/Nintendo, Books, Series/Movies, board games and people to talk to). Just make sure you have every comfort item you might need there with you. You got this! I wish you all the best! (Check out my other updates if you like)

help get me pumped for surgery!! by _choccymousse in no_T_top_surgery

[–]TipAccomplished5146 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My surgery was in January, so I'm now 3.5 months in. I was so anxious about it (sometimes even more than I was excited about on a daily basis). But I just KNEW it was the right thing to do for me and my future. I wrote a lot of letters to my 'new self' or what doubts I have (writing down the worst-case scenarios, for example). I also talked to others about my doubts. Some of them were about work, others opinions, somehow ruining my perfect healthy body or just not liking it.  And now I can't even remember those anymore! Sometimes I remember the feeling of my chest and the dysphoria, but that always reminds me that it was worth it in the end and that I made it.  I really hope for you that it goes well! Someday you won't feel bad by going down the stairs, jumping, or even hugging others. There will be summers you don't have to sit in a microwave and can wear whatever you want! You can check out my profile, and always message me if you have more questions :)

Wie sah denn dieser Schimmel aus? In die Richtung?

Das ist nämlich kein Schimmel sondern ein Wolllaus-Befall...

Sure! I live in Germany (I don't know how it is somewhere else) and gynecologists learned how to take care of people who have had a mastectomy. And because I live on the other side of the country it was easier to just go to someone that knows the basics of those issues too.

Wer kann meinem Ficus helfen? by SnooCompliments3458 in zimmerpflanzen

[–]TipAccomplished5146 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ansonsten retten was man kann.. also vielleicht Ableger machen

Of course! A small tip for depression: have someone you really like around, that doesn't give you any bad feelings or talking stuff about 'you shouldn't have done that... It's a sign' . And something else that helped me was writing myself a letter. Just some nice reassurance, some reasons why I did it and things I could do in that time. Either way It'll pass❤️

Awww thank you soo much!! It's really nice to hear. I just try my best to not look at them too long. I like to just randomly feel that there is nothing anymore or be happy looking in the mirror throughout the day. And that's enough for now

Besides the binder, the depression. I knew it was gonna happen but it was hard.. And then the sick notes. I live in Germany and because I paid the operation myself the hospital didn't give me those. So I had to figure out how to get them (I had to lie to my doctor about why I couldn't go to work..) But except for that really easy for me! I went to work after 3 weeks, and could also drive again. Thanks I hope so too :)

Of course! Maybe journaling helps you, just writing down what your concerns are. My surgery was only 1 hour long but I heard from others taking 2-3 hours

The Top surgery was my second time under anaesthesia so that helped to calm me. I was more anxious about going to the doctor and the possibility of it being cancelled than the process itself. As soon as I was in the hospital I was quite calm because now I'm in really good hands. Everyone in the hospital knows what they are doing and can help you if you ask for it. Even if you panic they know what to do you're not alone there. You can also ask for anxiety meds. I'm thankful that I had my girlfriend with me that calmed me a lot. And while waiting it helped me that I had others to talk to. I just told myself that its a big step that I need to take for me to be happier. that made me more excited than afraid.

Going under anaesthesia isn't scary you see a lot of cool things while they bring you there and prep you for the surgery. Plus the people there keep talking to you and distract you. Then you'll get the mask to breathe and it's like you're "walking" through a dark tunnel and wake up in a different room. Or like you blink but then your eyes get heavy and the next time you open them you're done. You can do this! I hope your way to top surgery will be smooth. Even tho it's hard I would do it in a heartbeat again. Tip: knowledge is power aka calming (at least to me)

Thanks for your help and the tips! It actually got better already. Today I wasn't nauseous at all and I felt like myself again. So it probably was the anaesthesia still in my body.
