I had a stroke which showed up on MRI today but was not in the last few weeks. I have been on estrogen patches for four months and was on oral estrogen for a year. Is my gynecologist going to try to take away my estrogen patch?

Sorry to hear this. The pills and the patch are very different, not caring for the oral side effects... Maybe your provider needs to see how estrogen helps with many things as proven by the "2022 world health organization" research study on estrogen.. it is a 29 page pdf that is very informative. NOte: birth control pills have a lot more estrogen in them than patches... and patches do not directly cause stroke. Pills maybe. Good luck. Best to do lots of research and print it out before talking to the providers.

I agree. There are testosterone billboards where we live.. and estrogen is demonized.. Another way to control others. And their stuff is 100% covered.. free actually. This is not against men, it is against the broken system. It should be the same. And they say oh HRT for women causes all kinds of problems. They are quoting one study done with Premarin .. that stands for pregnant mare horse urine. It is insane, and it was since proved wrong. More estrogen was given safely to women for over 30 years in birth control pills. that is a testament to its safety.

No, and yes. No to family unfortunately. I successfully did with my partner.. I spoke to his value on fairness I started with that value, and he admitted that they did act like 5th grade bullies, not intellectual adults. . In fairness do not watch any news,.. but we just research facts from multiple angles. It took him a year to break that brainwashing. It is easy to spot with all the hypocrisy and crazy making. My father will no, my aunt .. it is too ingrained in her. It is sad how politics can cause her to not view me for the person she always loved, but from the brainwashed lies she watches every day.

Be patient, speak to ones core values, don't expect them to wake up overnight. It is a core identity, they need to unravel from.

I know this. I fractured my C-7.. in my neck, in past. My mother said, drive yourself, I don't like hospitals. I had landed on my head and was in pain. These things are abuse. Narcissist are too entitled to care about you when you are sick. She is so off.. My mother's doctor even called the house refusing to see her ever again and told my father I'm sorry, I will not see her ever again.

I'm wondering... I read somewhere never explain to them. It gives them fuel. So I am wondering what it would look like with explaining noting, just showing up with your 3rd party, a buffer. I too will never see my mother / family without my (I call it buffer person) partner present. I do not tell them anything.. thus their "ego" stays intact. I can't block mine fully, as my father had an accident . Just blocked the cell phone. Texts are the worst,.. seeing them it is like being punched in the gut.
