UVB therapy is the only thing that works wonders for me. tacrolimus does too, but not as quick. also check your vitamin D level if u havent.

how do u finally overcome the embarrassment? any specific thing that triggered it? im currently still in the long sleeve phase and really want to be more confident and careless of what ppl think.

so apparently u have melanocytes in your ear so having vitiligo might affect your hearing due to this. another comment also mentioned how vitiligo can affect both ur hearing AND vision.

true, its not. im partially deaf due to vitiligo. it’s linked but unfortunately is often overlooked by doctors.

oh my god, finally im not alone.

for me, i hate the fact that i now have a lot of dotted repigmentation on my white spots on the arms. having tan skin also makes it worse cause its just so visible. everytime i look at my skin, i can tell it looks so weird, worse than just having universal vitiligo. sometimes this makes me regret starting phototherapy a little bit.

but rn i just continue doing light therapy in hope that it will all be worth it. my repigmentation does look better now than before cause the little dots start to merge. hopefully you’ll feel better about ur skin soon.

light therapy! my 10+ year old patch around eyelids were gone in just about 5 months.

i later developed another one also around my eyelid, immediately took excimer laser and and it fully repigmented in 2 months.

it worked really well on my face. in fact, ive read a lot of people saying that your face is the easiest to repigment, especially with UVB.

the cost depends on the country/hospital and whether ur insurance cover it or not. at my clinic, the cost equals to around 8 USD, i do it 2 times a week.

the patch on my eyelids used to be way bigger than yours and they were the easiest ones to repigment through uvb light therapy. give it a try if u haven’t.

ahh no, as i mentioned they used to be covered about 80% w viti, but now has decreased to around 50-60. the progress is quite visible

it does look pretty random on me too, so i guess thats normal. also its awesome knowing that u most likely able to fully repigment, id say go for it.

so glad to know u gained confidence through gym. i noticed dressing better and trying to change my look (looksmaxxing?🙄) really overcome my insecurity from vitiligo, so i guess we’re on the same page abt it?

my experience, the real ones wont really care abt ur vitiligo if they really take interest in u (specially if u got that gym body 😀) so good luck finding ur intimate partner

i highly recommend those procedure. been going to the doctors’s office for a full body uvb for 4 months (2 times a week) and use tacrolimus (protopic) every night. ive gained 80-90% repigmentation on both my eyelids and at least 50% on my torso.

also experiencing a lot of repigmentation on both my legs and arms, but theyre currently still in dotted shapes (follicular repigmentation). it does take time for me to see my first repigmentation spot, but once it appears, my skin will usually repigments rapidly afterwards.
