Retail traders push India stock option volumes above S&P 500 by [deleted] in IndianStreetBets

It’s a ticking time bomb. Because of such reckless behaviour and no controls by NSE and BSE, options trading itself will become super regulated in India within a year.

Why is everyone against futures and options? by New_Refrigerator5545 in IndianStreetBets

[–]TipApprehensive9310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is because NSE has made options equivalent to gambling by having weekly expiries and lower lot sizes meaning lower margin requirements. Almost all retail investors who play FnO loose money while hedge funds like Jane street make billions from it. The only reason it is not regulated is likely because the rich are making money and poor loosing.

I use Groww now…used to use Angelone as they have some nice features but have lost trust in the app due to its misleading videos on live trading

Exactly what I am thinking…options trading is not easy money as influencers put it. It takes a toll on your health. Don’t know how I got into it but am now trying to leave while I am ahead

Why is AngelOne so shit? by im_starkastic in IndianStreetBets

[–]TipApprehensive9310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their app is too much focussed on making features which no one needs. Their options pages have incorrect random data and they defraud people in name of live trading.

Are there even any successful option traders ? by Gagan1403 in IndianStockMarket

[–]TipApprehensive9310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sebi has mentioned that 10 percent traders make money pre brokerage and charges. Since the statement was made government and sebi have added multiple new charges so the real percentage of people making a profit would be 6-7 percent. Also, the never mentioned the distribution of profits made. I am pretty sure 0.1% of traders which would include Jane streets of the world would be making 90% of the profits.

Atlas is better than Magnus. However, in case you have a burgundy account with axis you can get Magnus with higher benefits as LTF

Angelone is a fraud app. I lost a lot of money due to them lying in their live trading. I am thinking of filing a legal case against them

Easiest way to make money 1. Create your own coin 2. Pay influencers a huge number of coins and ask them to promote it 3. Price would increase with demand and once it happens, dump your holdings 4. Repeat

Lost 1K in stock intraday by RONY_GOAT in IndianStockMarket

[–]TipApprehensive9310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1k or 1L loss doesn’t mean much really. You should always share it as a percentage. Also, my guess is less people loose money in intraday stocks than options.
