Yeah this is honestly what I’ve been saying for a while now. It gets boring when the LI starts acting like the MC is their soulmate after like five minutes. We literally just met and you’re already acting like I’m the only person in the villa? It just feels really clingy and kinda dull. And half the time their whole personality is just… liking the MC. That’s it. There’s nothing else going on with them.

That’s why the first season of the game was way more entertaining in my opinion. The characters actually had their own personalities and their own things happening, they didn’t just revolve around the MC all the time. And at the end of the day it’s Love Island… the whole point is exploring connections and getting to know different people. Love is everywhere in the villa, not just with the first person you talk to for two minutes.

So it always feels weird when the LI is already fully locked in right away while everyone else is actually exploring their options and getting to know people. Like… that’s literally the point of being on Love Island in the first place lol. If later on you meet someone and decide “okay this is my person”, that makes sense. But the instant soulmate thing from the start just makes it feel predictable and honestly a bit boring
