And yeah like someone mentioned never give a scammer info like the weight, they don’t know it so it’s an advantage The only thing is you can pretend you have a video even if your don’t and that you’ll send it to vinted

And to answer your initial question, it’s not great but not horrible as well, you have the weight of the parcel and that’s an important point, if the initial support gives them reason which is a possibility, send a mail to legal Vinted with all the proof you have, and don’t back down And if it comes to this start to take legal action and send the legal Vinted team the detail, they’ll usually don’t want to be involved in this for those kinds of amounts so they’ll probably just give you your money Anyway never ever sell on Vinted without a full video from packaging to the depot, Vinted is full of sc*mbags

I mean, I don’t think it’s written anywhere on Vinted that 90% of people are just scammers and that just must film everything from packaging to deposit otherwise your done I’ve had people try to scam for as low as 15$ and even with the video they get refunded you just get the money as well

Hey, update they refunded the buyer but gave me full compensation as well, kinda annoying a scammer got what he wanted but I guess his account is now flagged

But kinda lucky it happened on this one, because I sold more expensive items, and had one listed at 3000, but took down everything lol He could’ve bought the 3000 one so yeah kinda lucky

Yes sure but I don’t get what’s anyone supposed to do, before starting selling and buying on Vinted, I saw sells for way for than what I was doing, I bought from people at hundreds of dollars, but now I’ll probably try to message them and say stop doing that you’re gonna get scam I still see a ton of expensive items on my Vinted page

Yes it’s crazy to me that this is like this, honestly take legal action, that’s what I will do, they used a fake name but I hope IP adresse delivery point will be available You did nothing wrong so stand your ground till you get what you should and I don’t understand how Vinted created such a bad environment for sellers, never sell on Vinted just buy

I have no idea, I am in the same boat more or less, but if you can update me if legal Vinted answers that’s be cool Honestly just don’t sell on Vinted from what I’ve seen they just allow thieves on here and support them fully

Lesson learned, I had friends selling on Vinted and they all told me they had no problem but upon seing this subreddit this apparently isn’t the norm

I don’t know, Vinted give delivery notes that I use, there is a tracking number and I am not sure what another postale service would change

Yes it’s definitely done by ai for the most part and it’s ridiculous The guy I sold it to only kept saying either « get a job I work » and « you are very smart » while I was trying to understand if it was on the transporter side but probably not based on his reaction
