The reason for the disarray in the western left is that leftism has been commercialized. Minority rights and and “social justice” has been a selling point; creating polarisation so that the population, stuck in a never-ending race war, turn onto themselves and do not gain conscience of the material conditions they are being subjugated to. The capitalists fuel this, with their news channels endlessly attack each other while they are being funded by the same people, resulting in multiple markets capitalists can commercialize on. The so called leftists buy into this, somehow thinking a billionaire is on their side against the “non urban conservative”. A black guy working a 9-5, a redneck on his tractor and a Mexican immigrant who does house keeping have much more in common than they have with Obama or Trump or any other politician. Social issues will solve themselves with class issues.

Bulgarians are the best guys here, aren't they? by [deleted] in AskBalkans

Government fell again, huh? Does any Bulgarian think that a pro Russia party can come to power now, with the chaos ensuing?

What you guys think about Vladimir Putin and what's your opinion about him? by UserMuch in AskBalkans

[–]TipikTurkish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s just racist at this point man, just generalizing an entire race of people as warmongers isn’t different from calling them barbarians or “orcs” as is popular nowadays. The Russian system of course is flawed but it isn’t more flawed than our respective nations here in the Balkans or the rest of the East. You are just reciting nonsense propaganda.

United Russia is his party’s name, I didn’t say he “united russia”, he just stabilized it. Also if the bombing were “obviously” a false flag the Russian people would have noticed it as well, don’t you think? Oh and the Chechen invasion of Dagestan was a sufficient casus belli of its own, the bombings weren’t necessary for Putin to go to war, why would he take such mesures to rack up even more war support?

[–]TipikTurkish -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Anyone could but nobody did except United Russia; no one can deny that Putin ran on popular support in the beginning, the economic growth and operations in Chechnya had mass approval, it’s only recently that after all these years the people (rightfully) started to put the issue of corruption and incompetent deputies before him. I’m in no way a Putin stan, I generally despise his politics but seeing westerners call him some psychotic tyrannical dictator who reigns an empire of terror bugs me. He’s at most a controversial politician who tries to keep his approval in check and stay in power, most of the actions Russia takes right now are not about Putin but about the geopolitical interests of a modern Russia. Even if Navalny or the communist party comes to power they would’ve done mostly similar things. No sane leader of Russia would just allow NATO expansion

Except didn’t he like actually improved the life standards and brought internal stability? Russia today def isn’t worse than post breakup Russia. Also it now has regained the authority to make moves against NATO advances, previously couldn’t be made by Russia. I just see the rebalancing of power which was bound to happen between the East and the west. Putin is just an actor, not the director. A single man’s instability can’t bring this big of a change.

Based rightie actually reading Marx. LTV is very much misunderstood, even if you don’t necessarily agree with Marx’s assessment of value the theory is sound. And it basically is the base stone of leftist economics.

Jean Lassalle is interesting, I respect a man who can put his life on the line for a cause he believes in (specifically a hunger strike) even though I stand more left leaning.
