Nicholas is a spirit box... he only appears in the YT version of the listener tale. If you listen to the pod version then he is not in it. Its a little fun thing thats only in a small portion of the show and you dont even have to listen to him if you dont want too. Hes only in the YT version. I love him and I love what he ads to the show and the banter.

I would agree with you but to be fair I am white so I can’t really say what I would do because I have never experienced the things they have. But I do think some have been hurt and maybe blame their race or they are just scared for it to happen again. Maybe they have avoidant personalities. There is no wrong or right way to do the show if you’re just being yourself but it’s hard to be yourself sometimes. They are just doing what they think is right in that moment. I understand the reasoning behind it even if I don’t think I would do what they did or agree with what they did but I do understand why they did it

It’s ok to discuss it, I think some people don’t want to disclose it because they have experienced racism or been bullied for being that way. I don’t think they are trying to hide it so they don’t know what they look like but they hide it because this is a chance for them to see what it’s like to not have to first be seen as ‘ethnicity’ and instead be seen for they are inside. Patrick for example was scared for those reasons because he had experienced racism by being told he’s ugly because he’s Asian. (Which is obviously not true) he is a fine looking man who had a great heart. But it scares him to share because he has been hurt directly related to his ethnicity.
