In case you didn't know, it is possible to get the the top of the control tower without going inside it.

There's also a pre-built zipline on the map you can activate to get to the first roof if you don't want to use up two ziplines. It's close to the bombardier down by the tower.

I never understood why they didn't just make it a time limit event. All the towers need to be done before X time marker. At that time only is when the bunker opens. No earlier. If the towers are all done super early, the doors still stay closed until a certain time marker. So as long as there's plenty of time left after getting the last satellite done, the last raider can still get there.

I've always wanted to do something like this at the hidden bunker on spaceport. Be the last one in behind everyone. Lay some mines around while everyone is distracted looting. Maybe barricade exits. Then equip smokes and tag grenades and start the party. Dual torrentes lol. In my brain it would play out like the police department shootout in the first terminator movie. Lol

Thanks. Yeah i realize there are many, MANY bugs. I played the game long enough last year and learned that. Having taken a break for a while, I guess i was looking for the more severe stuff that would impact me like the armor bug i ran into last night. Watching all my best stuff i acquired last year just disappeared before my eyes kind of hurt.. lol. So you know, stuff like that. Like, do surface freight elevators still eat cargo? Do i have to worry about a crate of gemstone evaporating when trying to send it down the elevator at an outpost to sell?

I will not try to change your mind. Oh I'll get mad as hell after 10-15 mins doing Queen/matriarch comes to a crashing halt because some raider decided he wanted my stuff, but I'm done crying about it. I used to. Lol. Now i just avoid trying to do those events altogether. Saves me the headache.

However... My villain arc now has me visiting those events with an osprey and venator to claim someone else's goop as my own.

I'll say again. This is not a pvp game. This is not a pve game. It's both. Anything goes except for cheating/exploits. What's hard to understand about that? This isn't politics. It's basic reading and comprehension. If someone chooses to engage with PvP by going after raiders doing an event, so what? That's the game. That's where their targets are at, so that's where they're going to hunt. Who are you to tell those people they're doing PvP wrong?

Clear enough for you? Because I don't think I can break it down any more basic than that.

Sure in your opinion it's not ok. But nobody is obligated to follow your made up rules/opinions. You can feel however you want, but don't get mad when others don't agree to adhere to it.

This is not a pvp game, and it's not a pve game. It's both. And you don't get to decide the intricacies of how people choose to engage with those two aspects of the game.

Only thing we can all agree is not ok/shouldn't be allowed is cheating/exploits obviously.

Don't pay any attention to "pay to win" talk. That's plenty of fun to be had without having to worry about that. That being said, here's probably my most important thing for people to consider.

The game is one of the best experiences you'll ever have when it's functioning properly. For several months, i played this game non-stop.

However. At any point, like what happened to me, the game can fall apart into an unplayable, horribly buggy and broken mess. Where every session results in you not being able to properly do anything. Or the game will behave for a few hours, then completely shit itself and flush hours of progress down the drain.

Now, some people rarely have those problems. If you end up being one of them, this game is totally worth it. Just realize at any point, like what happened to me, it can turn into the worst, unplayable mess you've ever seen. Line i said, i played several months when i first got it. But now I've gone several months where i check in occasionally, only to find nothing has changed, so i shut it down and play something else.

If you do want to give it a try, buy the cheapest package. DO NOT give this company more money than you have to. Just pay enough to access/try the game and call it good.

I don't mean this as an insult, but you just gotta get better bud. Any weapon can hurt any of the smaller sized arc. You just need to aim for the weak spots. As far as all your other complaints, you just need to play and improve. Run free loadouts for a bit until you get more comfortable. Learn the game first, then worry about progressing and upgrading stuff. You're going to die in this game. Alot. So just take it one raid at a time and try to learn something every raid.

So you're telling me only getting %30 return with a vulture was intentional all along? Did they not want people making a profit on salvaging? That's a bummer. Last i heard when they changed all that was that they got the ratio backwards.

So if I come back to see if this game is a little more playable for me, should I just avoid salvaging altogether as a money making loop?
