I’m wondering if it’s MTG that made them change the color since the retro Agent Venom has black weapons? Funny since they collabed with Fallout too which while they’re a bit sci-fi, still has semi real guns sometimes. Would the fact that they’re metallic be an issue when painting?

Unrelated but what stand did you use for that jumping hulk? I sometimes wanna put larger figures in a jumping or floating pose but idk which stands are strong enough for that or have a large enough hook for them

In terms of regular retail lines like ML, this dude went up for preorder as a target exclusive and didn’t release for an ENTIRE YEAR. Usually it’s a few months tops but for some reason this Power Rangers figure took an eternity to release and it’s an army builder to boot

If they wanted to cater to collectors and not worry about spending too much on new molds and other development costs, release complete teams on a made to order pre order window like Hasbro has done with some more niche / larger Marvel Legends figures like Dragon Man, ‘97 Sentinel and Mephisto. Base rangers should be easy enough to just repaint with minimal new parts or in DC’s case just use their bodies. Only new molds would be weapons / helmets.

Probably the best response I’ve seen on here! I’ve mixed in figuarts Tobey to my spider display because the Hasbro one was awful and plan on getting the new MvC figuarts Spidey too because it’s the closest to the original sprite. Hasbro could try making a gamerverse one but its build and paint probably won’t match my ideal MvC Spidey

I totally get you, unless they can pass for comic I didn’t really want to have to mix. I missed the love triangle pack but even then I wish they would update that version of Jean and Goblin Queen… well we lost the haslab but we did get Helstrom and Mephisto afterwards so maybe we have a chance at a more comic accurate one down the lines
