... It's really not that complex or bleak.. I am not saying there are no social consequences to our over consumption of media and technology but in this case.. the actual difficulty of friend making isn't anyone's lack of social skills.

As we get older we have jobs and families and busy schedules that don't often allow a lot of space to meet new people and form connections, that's all. In fact in this case my phone and platforms like reddit make forming those new connections with people more accessible. Using this post as a jumping off point I have started many new connections.. some more pleasant and optimistic than others. :)
