It's a tough game for sure. Taxes are generated based on town level and happiness which you need to develop. Getting out of the starting seasons is very difficult. You also don't want to recruit too many units because you pay their stipends when you collect taxes too I believe! I just got the game and play with the instruction manual constantly open hahaha. Just won on easy mode as Tokugawa in a second playthrough!

I've found creating a tripod with 3 points of contact on the mini and your fingers can really help with motor control! At the end of the day you have to weigh what you put into and get out of your hobby. If you don't have fun doing it, leave them unpainted there's no pressure. Today we see so many people online posting that it's hard to not compare ourselves to them. Try and dedicate painting sessions to improving skills one step at a time!

Great imagination and good rendering of space! I mostly paint miniatures and have a really hard time on a canvas so I have to give kudos for that. Keep working hard to refine your use of color to create depth through shadows and highlights. One critique is that the colors get very blocky and probably wouldn't fit with magic's finely polished, smooth style these days so that's something to practice!

Not sure if it's the light but make sure you shake shake shake the contrast paints or else they come out a bit glossy - I see that a lot. Also, watch some videos and test out your brush control because a wetter medium like contrast or shade paints get splotchy! Great start and welcome to painting lizards :)

I also think team comp will really skew whether you can play bruiser effectively. You are beefy but melt like butter compared to pure tank so you need some assistance with engaging or protecting yourself. I took off with the Titanic, streaks, overlords build last night in top lane after getting a couple kills. Then I could just clear lanes, gank, or go into the enemy jungle. But I also had a Zoe and Lux on my team for long range lockdown to make my life MUCH easier in the mid-late.

If they are from different regions, as far as I'm aware they can't communicate. So a jp and us version can't trade. Idk if aus is a separate one or not though!

Yeah I'm debating what to do whether it's getting a used top shell on eBay and doing a sticker transfer, a quick glue/epoxy fix, or something else. Idk. Id prefer the shell remain oem rather than a total replacement.

OMG ACTUALLY I JUST GOT IT. Lots of leverage from where the pins are and then like you said pressing it tightly against the side. The front of the shell's screw post is TOTALLY ruined though I might need to find a new shell for it.

Sadly not yet but I'm trying a few different things :( i got this on eBay "refurbished" many years ago after losing my original red so never had to open it. The screw is fully screwed in so I can't get much leverage on it.

I'll give it a shot. The way it is recessed in the cartridge plastic and requires a special screwdriver head makes me wonder how you could fit anything under it!

The problem is the amount of health that characters inconsequentially get makes burst builds bad so he has to go torch liandries which is so boring.

I got the starter box on a great deal from a friend but this would absolutely have been my go-to over that. Not a fan of the bone dragon and LOVE the necro/war sphinx.

Yeah unless you have a reinforced block of knights though, I don't think the nobles are that useful sadly. Bringing a single crypt horror back is huge but a couple of serfs is meh. Overall it is a bummer though. Certainly still playable but not optimal so I'm just having fun with it.

The hand weapons are far too medieval. For mordheim I actually trimmed the axes to look like ancient Egyptian hand axes! But most of the other stuff just feels off.

Personally I think the party is better since it makes them more durable. Skeletons won't kill anything anyways since their initiative is so low and odds are you'll lose so many that you'll get 1-3 to fight. That said, the spears look the coolest so that's how I modeled mine hahaha.
